I took on a high paying niche that i thought i could work.
Adwords puts them at 20.00 to almost 50.00
Domains are starting to creep up there, have about 3 sites on the first page of G.
Ive been getting click and not making SH*T
    My first click was 1.20
    Next one was 1.50
    Next one was 1.10..
    Next was 1.70...... etc.

Im like wtf. i know sometimes ads dont correspond to the sites keywords, but this is very specific and out of the 8 ads on there 7 are related.

i mean i have read here that not all sites get the premium payouts, but these are quality sites with 100% unique content. searches coming organic, etc. imagine you had a meso blog and you were getting hits and not getting paid. same boat, different niche.

Do you own other sites that are using Adsense? This could be smartpricing, where even a single bad site on a publisher id smartprices the entire account.

Here Google explain what smartpricing is. One single bad site in your network can smartprice your whole account.

In some instances it is worth getting rid of a website that is smartpricing your account even though that website is making money, as it will increase the revenue for all your other sites, however that isn't neccessarily what I reccomend as I don't know the details of your particlar websites.

Damn that's pretty clever from Google. They charge the full amount to the customer and they give you only the fraction of it.

Advertisers often (usually?) run ad campaigns at cheaper rates on the content network.

i am going there now, will it tell me how to find the one site that is smart priced?
edit: it doesnt say how to figure out if i am being smart priced - will dig more, if you could let me know, that would be great.

this is actually what i was thinking. everyone talks about the PPC prices of words, but its that for google search results or for website ads??
if it is not the same, you could toss out 90% of the worrying about the cost of clicks since you will be not making that amount and you have NO idea what amount you will be making!!
