    Long time lurker, first thread!

Anyways...is it valuable at all? It was a Chinese website so I'm not considering the backlinks as valuable. Is there any value/use of this domain?

If you can pick it up cheaply and if it has a clean backlink profile, you could probably rebuild the site or 301 it for some decent juice.

I don't think TLD matters that much, it's pretty safe to assume it probably has a Chinese extension.

Besides, weren't SAPE links .ru? I think with a good link profile it shouldn't really make a huge difference.

I think the only issue aside from that would probably be the price of the domain.

Most common TLD. I already purchased it for $12 because it was expired and I couldn't pass up the chance. I have it 301'd right now but honestly I don't have much use for it!

I will have to disagree with that. A 4 letter .com domain might be worth up to 6 figures, whereas a 4 letter .biz not.

If it is clean link profile and you don;t know what to do with it...I don't know what to tell you

I meant in terms of passing juice in OP's particular situation, not in the matter of how much it's worth.

Of course com/net/org would have higher worth than biz/info/me, but for passing link juice from an originally Chinese site, I don't think it weighs that heavily right now.

And like I said above, if the OP can get this domain cheaply with a good backlink profile, the TLD won't matter as much.

I'm not saying TLD has no value, I'm just saying in the OP's particular situation it shouldn't really be that heavily weighed because it most likely has a .cn extension anyway.

Well I have ideas what to do with it, of course. I just want to utilize it in the best way possible. I didn't mean to come off sounding like I need SEO 101.

Replace the cn with "c" "o" and "m" and you have the extension. Won't let me type that out just yet... Sorry.

Oh, so it's just a regular .com and there's no foreign extension? Wow, it's probably pretty good then.
