    Hello:

I'm working on a very cool food & music project involving some well-known personalities/brands, with the payoff being: Facebook likes, Twitter followers, YouTube views, unique visitors to a website and (ultimately) increased visibility/sales for everyone involved.

I need to submit a formal budget/proposal very soon on this, so I'm asking BHW members: What could be done with a $3500 - $5000 budget?

BOTTOM LINE: I would LOVE to be able to guarantee results for the participants in terms of social media numbers, YouTube views, etc. with REAL humans (or close to it).

Obviously, I would prefer solid, first-hand referrals on whomever I'm working with, so any input along those lines is appreciated too.

Thank you all & let me know,

    The Rock & Roll Chef

Here is a plan for you:
I would take your budget, I averaged it out. $4,400 dollars. I think since you are a chef type. I would take $500-700 and use it towards Pinterest. You can create a rather solid campaign using this vertical. Then I would suggest you dump $1,500 into adwords. You can find some really good adword campaign managers that will create, set up and make it work for you. A savvy tip would be that you can sign up for Google Engage, where you will be able to get multiple vouchers free.

Your next task at hand is someone who can run a campaign engineering social media. Since you are about cooking, you are reliant more on the Social Engineering rather than SEO. You need ACTUAL people who will see what you have, peaking their interest.

Statistically speaking, women tend to watch or seek out chef shows, websites that will show them new ways to cook or come together with.

If you need a more elaborate plan, then I'd be happy to write one out for you.

    build pinterest followers
    build twitter followers
    build fb page followers

both build traffic the moment you update these outlets. essentially, thats how i view social media anyways. Instant traffic the moment you engage with them.

Thanks everyone - I'm new, so I don't think I can PM anyone (yet). Although I might cough up for the donation sooner than later so I can communicate with you all a little better. Or you can get my email from my Rock N Roll Kitchen website.

TO CLARIFY: My project involves both cooking & rock stars, so my hope is the proposed content will have a little more built-in "push" and click appeal than other stuff. But the thing I would REALLY love to guarantee both the rock stars and the sponsors as part of their participation: X number of views, X number of unique visitors, X number of Facebook likes, X number of Twitter followers. Make sense?

Finally, I would also LOVE some first-hand referrals; I can't be looking bad to my guests & sponsors because I hooked up with someone who didn't do what they promised, right?

    THANK YOU

    Chef

Sounds good so far, and you're right about the female demographic (ask Kraft Foods about that one). Although terms like "use it towards Pinterest" are a little unclear - what does that mean exactly? Hire someone to knock around their site for hours & hours type thing?

As mentioned, this is in PROPOSAL mode so please don't kill yourself but... if you want to write something out, great, but remember this: The payoff HAS to be something along of the lines of minimum numbers of likes/subs/views/followers walking away from the experience - NOT just guaranteeing the "effort" (ala lawyers and publicists).

    THANK YOU SIR

    Chef
