Today when I checked the who.is of my website..... I just copied the Ip and tried to find out something.

I saw that there were 30 other sites that were also hosted on the same Ip....

Will this affect my rankings? I am on the Google's 1st page for many keywords... and I am scared...

My domain is hosted on ipage... and it is a commercial website...

    Please give me some advice.....

Yes. If any of the. Have been in any criminal activity (spam, hacking etc) it will lower you, but the same goes for if they are authority sites, they will help you.

    Who do you lost with?

One more thing to ask.... Am I the only one who has these type of statistics or there are other websites also???

Did anyone come over such type of thing, which resulted in an impact in SEO?

In general it is fine to host on a shared IP. There is a worldwide shortage of IPv4 addresses. In my experience, the main problem on shared hosting is if somebody spams email out of the shared IP and gets it blacklisted.

Exactly, go check which sites are on your IP aswell.
Look, if there's any blacklisted domain / any big spammer.

I think if you put your site on cloudflare (free), your site will be using same IP of 1000++ websites that uses the same name server.

make a site: check on Google.

If you see their domain in the Google index, everything is allright.
But that would be really the worst case.

Amount of sites on same IP does not have any effect on rankings as long as there are not thousand of spammy sites hosted with it.

I don't think that it can influence your rankings...

Not true. Only the DNS ips are the same not the main ip which is what counts.

Yes, it will affect your rankings if your linking from one site to another on the same ip. Make sure you are not doing this.

Shared hosting is always a crap shoot - found out a while ago that the IP for my health advice sites on a reseller IP at Hostgator was being shared with some gay porn sites. As I doubted that Google would view the linkage positively I got everything moved to a new address, but I'd never have known without some backchecking on the server IPs.

"THE BEST WAY" is to get yourself an account in 'SenderScore'. (Google) Start by resolving your DNS and looking it up. \m/

    Check the "Rating".

I can do with some +R if you don't mind as I am not that active here, but quite old here on BHW. Tyvm.. ;)
