Anyone tried this? Let's say you don't want to use 301 directly to your money site, so how about you 301 to a Web 2.0? If Web 2.0 gets deleted you simply 301 to another Web 2.0...

    Let's hear your experiences

I would go for domain 301 to web 2.0, and web 2.0 301 to money site - not many web 2.0s allow this.

I've just tried this. Around 1 week ago I redirected 2 domains to 2 separate web 2.0s id built. These domains alone used to rank my site up to around page 5/6 for the main keywords. Not even in the top 300 for the main keywords. Yet. I have noticed I have started ranking for a lot of the smaller long tails within the last few days without me doing any optimisation for those keywords. This is the first time I've used redirects in this way. I'm trying to build something that ranks longer rather than getting penalised every few months by using the redirects directly pointing to my site.
