I want to try sape link as many KWs are stuck at top of page 2 and are refusing to move up despite directing many PBN links and ranking web2.0s.

I want to reduce risk first by 301 and then directing them to inner page. If penalty hits, it will only hit inner page and not all site.

Any other precaution I can take?

There is always some risk involved when going with sape links.
But its worth it if you can afford to throw away your website and start new after (and if) you get hit by google.

Also if your site get penalized, it will probably tank the whole domain.

it's not if, but when penalty will hit, your redirection will not save you.

I have done it and my site was ranking for 5 month before it was tanked, so if you know you can make some good money in a few month period while site is ranking go for it.

Well have tried SAPE for 1 year no penalty no horror story no nothing ALL great and ranking like hell.. so it's not when penalty will hit but when it will hit then you have choosen the wrong SAPE links. Trashy SAPE you find all over BHW!

Build some web 2.0 and link your SAPE to these properties so you will be fine.. if you get hit by Google you learned 2 things.. don't buy cheap and shitty SAPE and always be prepared to fight with Google you will need a new money site to replace the penalized.

I would not recommend Sape. If penalty hits, it will tank the whole website, not just the inner page and you have to start from scratch...not the top of page two you are now! I would recommend keep doing what you are doing, build link diversity and keep your anchors around 5% and be patient.

Well ive been here longer than you so what is your point? Are you having a bad day or not willing to share the good positive info and correct me if you think i am wrong and have a constructive discussion??

I have had whole sites de indexed from linking Sape to an inner page so i am speaking from experience (going back 3 years)! RuthSam is using a buffer web 2.0 which is different to what OP is suggesting and something i have not done but i have heard that also comes with risks. Now, if Op is asking such questions about Sape it is obvious he needs to stay away cause it takes alot of experience to learn how to pick the right quality links (which RuthSam did not share) except like you to make statements about how great you are and how everyone else is wrong. Share good proper info...and not tease OP with minimal info and attack other members!

....and please read the Basic Forum rules!!

Interesting, I was looking for more information on what would happen when passing SAPE through web 2.0's. This would be an interesting discussion, but I'm not going to risk an established money site on it. If anyone has experience with this, it would be great if you could fill us in.

I really don't give a shit of you were here since the beginning, you have no clue of what you're talking about, i am using SAPE for years and none of my sites have tanked, that you can't seem to handle SAPE doesn't mean it others can't, i have problems with people like you that are spewing wrong information...

This remark says everything about the type of person you are, blegh

Hold on, how is speaking from experience giving wrong info? Please share the wonderful Sape method that never causes penalty with the OP then instead of posting negative shit in every other thread. Typical modern day keyboard warrior talking tough who would run the other way at the slightest sign of danger!! Stuff you would never say to a persons face. The rules are about RESPECT....something you seem to be lacking!

Funny ZennoScripts thanks you for your post but only last week posted he got a manual penalty and doesnt even know why!!

SAPE links are good to increase SERP rankings.
But if your inner page got penalized means it will lead to your full site then the whole site got penalized.
So, be clear before going with SAPE links.

SAPE is totally find. You can point those links to shortened URLs or something like that. I have been using SAPE for 1 year.

In general, Sape links are absolutely fine if you use them properly and if you get decent ones that are filtered.

I'd suggest, if you do not have much experience there, that you contact one of the suppliers here to get some hands on help if you are looking to use them. Those that sell them on this site (2 that I know of for sure) would be happy to look your site over and give you an idea as to how to use them as well as if using them on your site at this time is a good idea.

Using a 301 makes it possible to hide your links from competitors. Beyond that, I'm not sure how much it reduces risk. I use 301s as you're suggesting, and when I'm trying to take precautions (i.e. sites I care more about), I send the links to a buffer as RuthSam recommends. I haven't been penalized with either method, so I have no proof that one is safer than the other. Both have worked for me.
