I'm planning to buy some domains with good metrics (usually for PBN build) and 301 redirect all the domains to my money site. Is it ok to do that if the domains (say it 10 domains) have a different niche with my money site?

Will this method jeopardize my money site for getting penalize?

And if this ok, how about the power of 301 redirect compare to contextual links in PBN ? Which method is better?

    Please enlighten me...

    Thank You...

Sometimes it works sometimes not. We had some great results with some domains we made an 301 redirect to the money site. However, it's too expensive compared to use high quality links if you know the source. If you are going to build your PBN it may even be better but increase your costs.

Anyway, you may try with 10 - 15 redirects to see what happen.

sending some niche relevant links to those (10 domains that you are going to redirect to money site) will pass some relevant link juice.

Should be perfectly fine, but there's too many factors involved in hunting good domains so research carefully.

Go for non expired domains, they are 10x better than expired ones.

It could work, but try to make the PBN domains relevant, if they are not try to do some relevant backlinking to make them a little bit more relevant :) good luck

  7. There isn't one method that is better than the other. You need a mix to get stable, progressive high rankings.

Do a combination of both 301's and PBN. I ranked a site for a highly competitive term using around 12x 301's, 20 PBN links, some directories and some social packages from fiverr.

The 301's wern't even niche related! I just used quality domains.

I saw a drop initially but then flew right up to page 1. Currently at position 6 for my keyword. Took about 2.5 - 3months.

301s as part of a varied SEO campaign can be really beneficial, just ensure that the quality of the domains is high and that none of them have been penalised.

If this is not the entirety of your SEO efforts you should see some good gains over time, it may take a week or so but would likely take more like a month or two to really show its benefits.

301 redirects have been much more effective for me than that of contexual links from PBN sites.

Its best to go for related niches, even if broadly related.

Redirects with sites in other niches work fine

I've done 5k+ Redirects for clients in past 2 years, varying from 1-15 redirects a site.

The only thing is, you need hi quality sites to see that boost (i usually check 10-15 parameters for every domain) and make sure you maintain your redirects, by sending 10-20 hi quality links to them each month.

301s from irrelevant domains will do you no good, particulary if you get a manual review.
If you are building up a quality money site, it is not worth the risk that you lose the main site rankings
