Can i rank my website using 301 redirects some expired domain (not same niche)?
yes, if they had good backlinks
if backlinks of the domains are about "computer" and my website is about "bike"
Will I receive a good result ?
I know this is not my thread but I will use it for my question because it's related to 301 redirect.
To register a domain and 301 on my site will I have to register it on another account just like a pbn domain? Or I can register it from the same account from which I bought my money site domain?
You don't have to put the 301s on another host, trust me i use 301s the whole time from the same hosting account to a site on the same account. Anchor text does matter, i don't think you'll get too much benefit from redirecting websites who's anchor text is about computers if your site is about bikes, but then again i never tried it this way. Maybe you'll just get the benefit of extra domain authority, but it probably won't help you directly rank for any particular keyword, whereas if you had domains redirected to your site that had the keywords you wanted to rank for it does.
301 redirects alone will only get you so far. You're still going to need some quality links on top to give the new site trust in its own right. Make sure you don't spam the site and mainly use links from related sites.
thank you very much
It doesn't help in ranking for specific keyword if the expired domain in different nice and the backlink profile is keyword optimized
But as the previous members said, you will get some benefits
Separate names with a comma.
