    ok, here's my issue:

i have a PR2 newly setup site and i want to do 301 redirect to one of my affiliate web site. after few trial and error, i still cannot get the whole thing works. i followed few steps, but end up not successful. but before i edit my .htacces file, i do backup.

since my previous attemp is not successful, i want to revert back to original no redirect site. and this is where my problem begins, it is still redirecting to my new site with this url: http://www.newsite.com/www.newsite.com . this is the outcome in my previous redirect attempt and i decided to stop editing the htaccess. i also found a wp plugin to redirect the whole domain to new domain.

as i said, i restore the original .htaccess file. i also delete the .htaccess file, but i put back again since no effect. i also rename the theme file, hoping that it will be back to normal as it is the header file responsible for this but still no luck.

anyway to resolve my issue? help is really appreciated. thanks.
