I recently put a 301 redirect from site A to Site B. It took about a week, but site A fell off the rankings and isn't indexed in google anymore which is expected, but site B didn't move at all.

It was did not show up where site A was and not on the same page either. I checked multiple friendly redirect checkers and it said it was good to go. Could there be any reason for that? Is site B penalized? It is ranked for the two keywords #16 and #30 but didn't move a single spot.

    # For security reasons, Option followsymlinks cannot be overridden.
    #Options +FollowSymLinks
    Options +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch
    RewriteEngine on
    #
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.siteb\.com
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.siteb.com/$1 [R=301,L]

This is the code I used. Did I do something wrong. Any help would appreciated

Well, I just wanted to move the main site to the main site B. Every source online has a different redirect code for this and can be confusing.
