301 redirect dmoz listed site effect?

    If i bought a expired domain that was listed on dmoz and 301d to money site, would that effectivly pass on the benefit of the dmoz listing

    E.g it would be as if my site was dmoz listed?

    At this time, I believe Dmoz's SEO effect is kind of a superstition.

    Better create a new related site using that dmoz listed domain , then send links to your money site from that site.That's more authentic.

    It wont really help you unless the site has some real juice :) You Got to check for 10+ things to see if it is suitable for 301.
