i tried redirecting a penguined domain to another site. so when the site tanked, i tried to redirect to the next money site. problem is, seems like google 'remembers' the previous 301 and still sends visitors there.

have any of you experienced this? where google caches your 301s? how do you work around this? thanks

I am also interested in this. Can this process of ranking new website with 301 be repeated?

bumping this thread for the benefit of others using the 301 redirect method. it seems that i can't cancel the 301 redirect. it keeps redirecting to the previous url even though i changed the htaccess file. anyone have any experience with this? much obliged

it's just on your browser cache. try to use other browser to access the site or some online redirect checker to check your redirect. if doesn't work try to contact your hosting provider
