I have about 5 domains with a great backlink profile low CF and high TF and i was wondering if it would be possible to divide the power pf one domain over multiple domains by creating sub-folders domain.com/sub-folder (not sub domains as they are seen as separate domains all together) and 301 the sub-folders, then promote them with GSA, PBN and SAPE after they are indexed 301 them to a part of my site, would the power of the main domain flow true those sub-folders

I ask this because i have a huge ticket site with couple of 100 artist in it and some of sections need a little bump, now i could buy a lot if high TF domains but that is going to cost me a lot of money and i am looking for a cheaper way to get around this.

Please i am not looking for answers like build a PBN, of build a site on it, i am not an n00b if i wanted to do that i wouldn't be here in the first place, i am hoping that someone has tried this and is willing to share their findings.

If someone is not comfortable to discuss this openly i understand please PM me

Thanks

Dave

Instead dividing any traffic, promote from the start with GSA, PBN and SAPE. It's not safe but, if you do it wise it can be. Why distributing a site traffic when you don't know the result of the project. Start with few, in my opinion, after that expand if you have results and try your theory too.

Traffic?
OP is talking about the sites power/juice... Not traffic.

Diesel1 is right it is about the link-juice not the traffic, i wonder if you can divide the link juice from a good strong domain over sub folders so you target more then one site with your 301, i thinnk it is something that i will have to test to see how and if it works

My thoughts are that it does, when you build similar sites in the 301 sub folders, have those folders back-linked with SAPE/PBN/GSA links, have them indexed even ranked in the top 30 for your keyword and then 301 to the target, i think you would have a great switch box for my type of promotion.

I will test this and if it doesn't work i'll report back ;)

that will be a interesting case study , looking forward to see results keep us posted

I'm sure it does, that's what the whole silo concept is about after all. Whether or not it divides evenly is a different story. Like if you have 5 subfolders does it go equal parts 1/5?

I'm betting the algo is not that straightforward. Haven't tested that out yet, since i haven't had any need for it. as they say, necessity is the mother of invention. hope you post your findings. i understand if you don't :p
