Too much confusion over here. I have a site related to recipes niche, I made links for that and got on page one after some time my site goes down because it was a .info domain I think that's y it happened. Purchase a new .com domain retale to the same niche like old one was (recipes.info) now I purchased (recipes1.com). I just moved my all content to my new domain and redirected my old site using 301 from .info to .com site. And submitted a site moving request in GWT. Now I started seo on it started with some 50 high pr bookmarks like Reddit,Delicious,StumbleUpon and all those high pr sites. After that made 10 web 2.0 post with unique hand written content. Submitted videos on 10 sites, Submitted pdf doc to 8 high pr sites. After 4 days I got my site on page first. My old site is also ranking on page third second last. Okay now everything set I have did this with some of my other penalized sites. All sites are working fine. But today I saw my (recipes1.com) site goes down and now even in 100 pages and the another .info also down. Now what to do is my site performing google dance to get back on some good position or it is penalized by Googe.
Need some suggestion of BHW members.

This is a new site, expect this kind of ranking jumps and drops with it. It's normal. Just do what you did, build links and your site will most likely come back soon.

Are you sure the original domain didn't drop because of an algo change or penalty? They normally catch up with a 301 after about 4-5 weeks in my experience.

Seems strange you got drop in established rankings because of the tld

How to know about that why the original domain changed. I am running other sites that are 3 months old and they are redirected and working fine.

A possibility you shouldn't rule out. It may have been some kind of filter/sandbox/pen (call it what you like) that caused the old domain to drop.
If this is the reason for the .info domain dropping there is a good chance the filter has caught up with the new domain via the re-direct and subsequently degraded that domain too
These filters can be caused by things like over aggressive link building, unnatural anchor text distribution and god knows how many other on & off page actions.
I would take a look at all the SEO and changes you did to old domain a few week leading up to the drop. Did you build lots of links, change content, structure etc. if the answer is no to all of these then it looks like a dance and you should see your new URL ranking again in 2-3 weeks.
If it doesn't come back in 2-3 weeks your options are:
    1. Undoing any SEO or changes you did on the original URL leading up to the drop and wait for the algo to do its work and reinstate ranking
    2. Wait it out for the filter to time out which could be 30,60,90 days or never
    3. Forget about it and start again (sometimes the best and cheapest option)

I don't like to be negative and hope it is just a dance, this has happened to me on a few occasions some come back and some don't

    (A) Make sure you did 301 redirect right. If you did it right, the backlinks to the old domain will show up in GWT for the new domain.

    (B) Did you wait enough? It takes from few weeks to a month and you ranking will be all over the place.

Thanks for the reply. I got my domain back on ranking on second page but still dancing between page 1 or 2. Hope to get it stable on page 1 in some early time.

Check GWT and make sure g-bot is reading your 301s correctly. Start there to make sure there isn't anything faulty in your configuration. That's the source!
