As i reviewed today my godaddy account, detected, that there are sitting around 2 old domains with PR2 (6 years) and PR4 (3 years) yahoo dir listed.

Now i have redirected both to my project site. Will report back if i get any serp boost.

What are your experiences with 301 redirects?

They take some time to kick in in terms of serp improvements, but not a big deal. That's usual Google business. Being patient is a art you end up mastering in IM.

And they DO show on Yahoo Site Explorer as backlinks :)

Just eager to smash the myth that 301 redirects are undetectable... LOL If you disagree, just try and check by yourself...
