    Hey Guys,

I have 1 website within a niche that is targeting a specific product. I've decided I want a more broad website covering the whole niche, multiple products rather than 1 product.

I was thinking I could copy the articles from the current website and put them on my new site - which is an aged domain. To ensure the content isn't seen as duplicate I was going to 301 the old site to the new site.

Would this work or will Google still seeing it as duplicate content?

    Thanks

That's perfectly OK. If you want to be safe with google, then better place a domain change request along with that(in case you are moving the whole website.).

I'll just be adding 1 or 2 articles from the original site so unsure it requires a domain name change request?
