Quite true, Im actually looking for a reddit bot. You can earn a ton with it, I think you could even earn quite a bit of money with adfly + reddit.
 
After hanging out quite a lot on Reddit recently, I doubt it would be possible to get on the front page (if your website doesn't provide any good content of course) because they will literally down vote anything and everything. Even Obama's AMA only got a 50% rating.

Unless you can buy 1000000 of reddit up votes :P
 
Its difficult to get on first page though..

Just submit good content to a targeted subreddit. Make sure it's original and timeless and the votes and views will come every single time. I've noticed that it's easier to hit front page if you don't post too much per day.

The other day I tried to hit the front page multiple times in other subreddits and the algorithm buried some of my posts. Some of the redditors were even asking why my posts weren't doing well since they liked them so much.

As far as becoming one of the top posts of 'all time' I think there is a combination of reputation of luck that comes into play. Many of the top all timers got lucky by having really great posts. I've noticed that my posts keep getting better as the time goes on and I continue to top myself. I also think this is because I limit myself to a few subreddits rather than posting in a bunch of random ones.
