    Hi to all,

hope everybody’s having a good day.
I was wondering that when I publish a 3000+ words article with a keyword density of 2.5% then how likely will I rank first page or even number 1 on Google? The competition in my niche is rather medium.

Thanks for any replies! All help is really appreciated!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Warm regards,

    Vero

the best answer you get is it depends. In fact it depends on many factors. There is a possibility that his can rank without any backlinks but in this case your website should already be an authority, should already have a link profile.

if it's a new website, I think the chances are slim especially that the difficulty is medium. Well even for easy to rank keywords, today, you'd be in the third or fourth page with an article like that. Even with easy to rank keywords (low competition, you'd need to analyze the top 20 results manually to assess that, not only relying on kwfnder or any other tool), you'd need to push some back links in order to crack the first page.

Time will tell, check your rankings the day before you publish then a week, a month and then weekly after. You've more chance than a 300 word article with 25% keyword density.....

There's too many factors to consider such as how good is your onpage, how strong/weak is the competing sites etc.

Agree with the above, its not likely to get onto the first page without any offsite SEO unless the keyword is very very easy. Still, it sounds like you have a decent start with that length of content. Best thing to do is publish it and see where it lands. And give an update on this thread because it will be interesting to know.

Also, another thing to think about is the sites that are currently ranking - look at their stats, what their content is like, how many backlinks they have to the ranking page and to the root domain, etc. That will give you an indication also, if you are not ready to publish your content yet.

Thanks for the fast and helpful replies :)!

I'm already ranking 2-3 position, page 1, for 5 keywords and some steady backlinkprofile, so let's see where this gets us.
    Will update later.
