So - I am rather new to this site (as you can see by my posts) - But so far, I have been able to learn a lot, and use that little bit of knowledge to help me make a little more money than what I was doing before.

I have some money saved up, and I am looking at using it to turn around and make me some more money :)

Right now, I run a couple of retail sites - pretty niche markets, but they allow me to work from home full time, so I have time to do other things.

I am actually a Youtube partner as well - and have been slacking on utilizing that avenue -

So - if YOU had $3000 to go all in with something, what would it be?

I would buy some already established sites that are turning a profit, scale them up, sell them, and repeat.

If bandwidth is an issue at all for you, I would buy a VPS and Xrumer. Xrumer is still the most powerful option out there (in my opinion) if you utilize it properly.

That's an idea ... Good place to find established sites? Or just start looking around and contacting people?

Go with both option 1 and 2
but a ready made site, buy a vps, hosting,
    or

    hire a web designer
    throw your ideas at him/her
    and
    get your ranks up.

profit from ads and if you wanted, flip it.

Maybe I should have given some more info, because there are obviously going to be things that I have no idea about yet... Since I am so new to this.

I am not looking to make millions of dollars or anything - obviously, the more the better.

I do have an adwords account, i know how to work in just about anything that has to do with web design, and I am pretty skilled at the retail side of things... BUT, having something more "automatic" would be what I am looking for.

Don't confuse that for being lazy, as I am willing to put the time and effort into something, but since I already am established with what I am doing, I don't want to over-work myself and not be able to keep up.

Thanks for all of the help so far, keep the ideas coming!

And remember, I am a noob to all of this, so the more info the better.

I strongly recommend against buying a site from someone else unless you want to spend a few months learning about how to valuate a site first. Just imagine, that you buy a site from someone for $1,000 to $2,000 and 2 weeks after getting it, all the ranks drop off and the site makes no money, or it turns out they were using stolen content and you get a C&D order or DMCA notice. Just imagine that and realize that is a risk you could be taking.

I don't think he needs to spend that much money on new sites. There are quite many good sites with cheap price on DP

I really like that you have online retail experience, and even more so $3000 to invest. What kind of return are you looking for and how soon?

    Hey,
Why dont you use some of that money and get into ppc with your retails sites since you know what products converts well and you have an adwords account...and if you know what your are doing, its quick profits, pretty much automated so you dont "over-work" yourself
