@Zwielicht - sorry for the 2 basic questions but I have read through the comments of both posts and cannot find an answer, so, what do you count as easy KW's in terms of KWFinder or other metrics (=<30, =<20, =<10?) and what is the lowest number of searches per month you target for a single KW? You mentioned starting at 1000, how far down do you target (=<500, =<100, =<50?)

About the research, Keyword research should start with a page or a group of them. On the left side of a spreadsheet, you drop in the URL. And on the right, you’ll input the key phrase for each. You tick off the usual boxes like volume and competition. Unless you’re paid per page view, it’s fruitless. Instead, that “volume” number needs some context. Some long-tail variations. Some stuff in the middle and bottom of the funnel that will bring in people who are already primed to convert. Thought it might help.
