Congrats Rich. Good stuff.
Richeyjr awesome job, really appreciate members like you who give back to the community.
Thank you very much!
I learned from posts like these, so why not give back and keep this amazing circle rolling, huh?
If you dont mind, can you send me your skype id or any other way i can chat or communicate with you, I want to get started doing PPC, and I am looking for a mentor that can help me, Please let me know if you can help
Congtarz on your success.
I am currently messing around with Bing only from some days and haven't found a profitable campaign yet(trying dating campaigns).
Thanks for boosting my motivation and keep rocking .
To be honest, I don't use skype any more. If you want to chat via PM's that should work out. At the moment I don't a lot of time to be able to take a student under my wings but I would be more than willing to answering some questions here and there for you!
I am so glad I could give you some inspiration! As for dating campaigns on Bing, you have to know who you are targeting. The average user of the Bing Search Engine is a little older than probably most of us on this forum. Just think, an elderly woman / man boots up their IE browser and types in what they want on the first page that pops up. Guess what page that is, Bing.com if it is a microsoft PC So maybe try to promote some 40+ dating offers and see if they convert a little better!
Are there any guides/tools/websites you used to learn when you were starting ppc?
Besides browsing forums, not really to be honest.
Congratulations on your awesome success, man! Just a couple of questions if you don't mind me asking:
1) I did hear that bing is a lot more lenient than Google, but do they allow direct linking everything? CPA/Clickbank...etc? What are the red lines with them from your experience?
2) I always felt bing had really low traffic (well I tried it with some keywords that got maybe around 8k monthly Google searches) and it was reaaaallyyyyyyyy slow. I assume you go after the big niches / broad niches to get some bulk traffic? (Certainly not asking for your niches, just how you get around the lower traffic problem.
3) If you do #2, how do you manage to keep the CPCs reasonable (if there's anything you'd be willing to share there).
4) If bing does allow direct linking everything, wouldn't everyone be doing this heavily resulting in direct linking dropping massively in conversions? Would love to hear your opinion on this.
Sorry lots of questions, thanks, Richard and may your success continue growing!
Hello! and feel free to ask away!
Bing is a lot more lenient than Adwords. They allow you to direct link as long as the page pertains to your ad, no exit popup, and no automatically playing videos.
As for the low traffic. I actually target buying power keywords so I don't get that much traffic compare to broad generic ones. I just learned to live with it
Over my 10 or so campaigns I get roughly 1500 clicks a day between all of them. I am sure I would get 20 times the amount with adwords, but they wouldn't let me have one ad approved, So I will stick to Bing!
CPC depends a lot on Quality Score, that has to do with your keyword being relevant to your ad text and landing page. The higher the QS the lower your CPC I tend to choose offers that have content rich landing pages, with a couple good keywords scattered about.
Wow awesome. How long have you been using bing PPC and testing?
Agree.. congrats! PPC is a great starting point and while sending direct traffic to the sales page is working for you now.. I suggest collecting leads. You said you did this in another post but contradicted yourself and said you direct link to the sales page. Anyway.. hope you're collecting your leads and marketing to these subscribers with new offers... that's how you make millions online. Congrats!
Congrats on your success
congrats buddy and thanks for answering some of the questions , lots of people only brag and they dont share shit , thanks again
Really grate that you are answering the question.
what other forums aside from here did you browse?
Congrats OP but this feels more like a promotion for pointclicktrack.com.
Might just be my cynical nature though.
