(Other thread simply broke so i had to recreate this. sorry - delete the other thread please)
    ---

Well, even though i looked, this probably has been discussed before, because its pretty simple.

On your sales/squeeze/membership page, instead of having a list to subscribe to, have them download some "amazing" software you created for your niche.

Customer installs - PPI possible here (goto Harro's forum for some guidance)

Customer has to create a "free" account to login to software. Heres where it gets good. Not only do you submit the details to add to your mailing list, you also use them for a CPA.

I guess you could even go as far as displaying a targeted PPC ad everytime someone logs in aswell.

If you have a membership site already, you could just tell everyone they have to log in through this for "increased security"

or something - simply give them a login dialog box & send the results to your normal login script. The program could easily be just a simple browser - VB6 and C have premade browser examples to work with so this would be a peice of cake.

Just a thought & since no one ever reads the EULA i'm sure it would be fine - you're not *really* generating fake CPA leads. Its a real PPI and its fair to add to your mailinglist & since its targeted PPC thats fair too.

But, guessing this has already been done?

could also stuff cookies using it if you wanted, but that might be a step too far.

5 money strategies in 1 system though, wouldn't be too bad.

OK, well I'll give you credit for brainstorming. The only way to improve on ideas is to just throw them out there.

Worldly Panther posted a thread earlier today about creating your own widgets. I think that could have huge potential if done properly. Try to find that thread and check it out. You might be able to tie it in with what you're saying here.

sort of a widget, but just a browser purely for your member area with log-in & create user buttons.

get PPI/CPA/mailing list/cookie stuffing/PPC revenue that way for just displaying your site in an application.

its just probably easier to advertise for most people to advertise a site they have, than advertise a widget for another site, but of course some people are genius and can do anything.

i'll write up some basic source to make a browser do everything thats required for this later. shouldn't be too hard to create something thing with a few variables for people to change around.

its still a fair install =P, but even if you didn't PPI it, its still a few decent sources of income you can add to a single site.

Next time a big game title comes out, i might PPI an installer to that, pack it as an 8gig ISO of an old game or something and watch that s**t go viral. That'd be an easy 20,000 installs minimum.

that'd hurt the torrent scene though, which is bad!
