Hello,

I would like to know how many people buy 3 characters domains (AB1, C3D etc), under the classic tlds (.com .net, .org ), and how much they value them generally. As you know, .com ones are all gone, and they are available only on aftermarket. .net ones there are only 90 - 100 (I checked all of them today), .org there are still enough many.

Do people value them? Do they sell well? Where do they sell best? Your thoughts from blackhat perspective? I am asking about the value of the short 3 chars domain only, not considering links, site or history.

Thank you....

the basic rule is the shorter the better since more people tend to remember it.
So the shorter domains are worth more

Quite right, but hyphenated and domains with number will tend to sell for less than the average 3 letter domain.
If you are looking to pick up some short lettered domain names I would recommend expireddomains.net, you can filter them by numbers, letters, ccTLD etcc.....
