offers great web hosting. I've used them for the past three years or so and love them! I just saw that they have a special offer right now: $3.95 / month web hosting if you sign up for 2 years ($4.95 / month for one year), a free domain for a year, and free domain privacy for a year! This is the best hosting I've had and now it's the cheapest. Hope you enjoy!

Mine is showing $3.95 a month and I can go through the checkout and pay that amount. Please try again and let me know. I can provide a secondary link that will definitely work if yours still shows 5.95.

$3.95 is expensive. There are companies offering the same stuff for much less.

well after the year you get bombarded with fees: $10/month hosting, $25/year domain, $6.45/year domain privacy. Over the course of two years hostmonster is more cost effective. :)

    Had two accounts on hostmonster.

First one performed splendidly performance wise, however for some reason it got hacked twice while having only html files on it. Could be me, however I never experienced simple html files being hackable in the past.

Second one performed horribly in every aspect. Supposingly there was a ddos or some shit on some website hosted on same server which lasted for over two weeks. Bandwith was screwed, performance of website itself was screwed (ftp, mysql, page generation), hostmonster kept moving me from ****************** to normal ip which was ********ing up my website (aliases weren't working) and related. When I kindly asked them to resolve it, they told me I should purchase better hosting and avoid such problems (ddos). This pissed me off instantly and made me flip them the bird. Asked for a refund, never looked back.

All in all, I do NOT suggest taking hostmonster since I had a really bad experience with them, but to each his own.
