I'm a Wix Pro Designer that has built over 250 sites on their platform, that number also represents the amount of monthly recurring clients I've sent to them through our partnership which equates to nearly $3,000 per month in recurring income.

So, my question is, if I wanted to part ways with WIX (Which I do), how could I get these clients to move away from them to my own website builder/hosting company and keep the recurring revenue for myself? You see, I'm not a coder, I'm primarily experienced with SEO and just happened to get good at their platform over the years so I would need a solution on my end that would allow me to build sites within the same environment as WIX and be able to connect client's domains to the site on my server.

Ultimately what I want to do is have an all-in-one site where users can host their site with me for let's say $10 per month (Website is non transferable from my server and 20%-30% cheaper then WIX per month) and offer SEO to the clients. I'm able to drive around 20-30 clients per month to sign up but I want to be more in control and start driving clients to my own business instead of WIX's.

Obtaining a server is easy and member management is simple as well with integrations such as http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/amember.com being available (Which also handles payments as well). What's difficult for me to plan out is how I could build the sites on my end similar to the way they're built on WIX. For many this would be the simple part while driving clients wouldn't be but it's the complete opposite for me.

Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

So do you want to offer your clients an editor like Wixx has? If you want to do this you would need some serious development budget. And you are also risking that especially at the start that this tool would have some bugs.
And if this is the case you are risking to lose a decent number of clients. Honestly it sounds too risky to do.

No I don't want to offer a website builder, what I'm wanting to offer is a "free" website to all clients and they just pay a monthly fee to keep the site up. However, on my end, I need to be able to build the sites in the same way that I build them on WIX and connect them to client's domain names. The only functionalities that I want clients to have on my site is the ability to see the domain names in their account that are connected and their billing.

There has to be an easy way to set this up, I wonder if anyone has the ability to download download the site files from a WIX site where I could transfer it to my server without any branding.

Only approach to this is to talk with each client individually.

Your best bet is to either built website using WP and then propose it to client OR you can built a CMS with WIX like functionalities, create a client website on it and then show it to client.

The client will be more eager to listen to you if he/she can see a live example of what he can get.

For billing you can simply uise WHMCS. It will do the job.

Do you know of any WordPress themes that have "drag n drop" functionalities? As I mentioned, I'm not a coder, I just happened to get good at their platform so I need a way to build sites in a similar way to how they're built on WIX.
