i used 2co over 2 years but today they closed my account & hold my balance for 90 days
Here is a part of their email
"Details: We regret to inform you that 2Checkout can no longer support your payment processing. Because of high recent chargeback activity, we were required to close your account.

Your account has been closed and has read-only access so you will still be able to review your sales information. The account will be reviewed for payment 13 cycles after your most recent sale. We hold payment for 90 days to allow time for refund and chargeback activity. "

I got only 1 chargeback recently which wasn't our fault. that buyer was a fraud.

I already opened a support ticket, trying to explain to them

Now can anyone tell me. will I really get my money back after 90 days
I searched internet found lot of same situation of people but no one says they got their moneu back after 90 days

    please anyone here can share

I think you will get your money if the payment on hold is not charge-back.

It seems like your best bet is to try and phone them, dont be mean, but let them know that this is causing a loyal 2co customer alot of grief and try and get an explanation at least.

Coming from someone thats been in telemarketing for years....you probably wont get an answers from person 1 or 2....you're going to have to go through the ringer....but its 1000 times better then back and forth emails. You need to get someone "important" on the phone and try and clear it up.

I'm sure they will release the money after 90 days but not sure if they can accept/activate your again. Paypal does this sometimes but 180 days than 90.

I've been using 2CO for years now and never had a problem.

The best way to get in touch with them is via phone. I've tried before it's much better than email, although emails are great too as I get 24 hour responses.

You should get the money back after 90 days for sure.

I did. They didn't ban my account though I just asked for it to be terminated and had some high balance there (can't remember) they said remaining balance will be released in 90 days after they make sure no charge backs arise so they deduct it form the balance on hand. No charge backs raised and they released funds on time without me even reminding them so it is automated somehow.

Sorry for double quoting I did read this guy's problem. He was selling Chinese replica phones so it seems they had the right to permanently close his account.

They're not a scammer company, they're a brick and mortar office in columbus ohio, employing more than 30 people, as long as the money is legitly yours you'll get paid by them.

i've even met their ceo a few times, they're a good business, not in the business of running off with people's money

As an alternative, you could use digitalgoodsstore if you're selling an item online.

I personally had an account closed with a lot in it, I contacted them after 90 days as they told me I would be given my money, guess what, they said I wouldn't be getting it!

I contacted bbb but they were no help whatsoever, hopefully the same doesn't happen you, as I was depending on this money (having been told I would be getting it).

Same thing happened to one of my accounts. You're pretty much screwed and have to wait for the money. However, if you politely ask them to allow your account an additional 90 days to help transition your rebill clients to another merchant solution they should be able to do that for you.

Sucks you have to wait for your money, but atleast you can squeeze 3 more months of rebills out if that's applicable to your situation.

    Good luck!
