In India they write the number that way(In terms of Lakhs). Maybe they weren't aware how to write the number in $

Is this something great? it is the norm in colleges like IITs, IIMs or ISB.. any MNC would pay that much to hire guys. There are guys who get more than that from IITs who enter financial services in the US
