Ok here is the deal, I have been building micro niche sites, in the last month i had 22 up, as I was going fairly slow (i am now able to create and publish 10 a day) anyway I had the first few batches up and some were ranking well, although most were search terms that were WAY too small (like 30 searches a day on exact) anyway 2 days ago all my sites shy of 2 got deindexed. I do not mean sandboxed like put on 300 position, i mean gone, deleted, removed, ix-nayed.

I have read some talk about the "google dance" and that the sites may re-appear after a week but doesnt it seem funny that all of them went on same day?

I wasnt really doing anything black hat, I was not exactly being white hat either, but just the usual BMD sort of stuff.

    Any ideas??

G could have found a footprint to find your sites and others and removed them from the index.

Maybe your sites are on a shared server where someone else has bad sites that were targeted and yours got included in a de-index?

Sorry to hear this happening. Over a year ago I lost 100's of sites one day and since then have changed business to ignore G.

    Try doing a:

    site:<your domain>.com

See if the any of the sites are still showing. You can also consider the Webmaster Tools to really see if they've banned/de-indexed your sites.

Yeah, 22 all on the same day seems a bit weird...

That's rough...G is a funny creature. You never know what is going to throw out at you. Obviously you were doing something with one of them that it didnt like so it threw it out, but never have i heard that many being indexed at once....interesting.

How many pages of real content does each of your micro niche sites have (not counting the about us, privacy page etc)?

Yeah here is a few twitches that i never mentioned:
1, not all sites were identical, a few were scraper sites with NO content but hundreds of pages, definate no-no's BUT not ALL of the scraper sites were removed, 3 were left.
    2. Most (about 18 of the sites) had 2 articles each on them, pretty much no major footprint to speak of as I designed my own wordpress type engine solely for this. and 2 of those sites remained after.
    3. I have 20 other sites that were just indexed with identical footprint as the 18 articles sites.
    4. All sites sit on my private server, sadly using the same nameserver, but i have now gone to private registry records and mixed up those that arent private.

So that makes it weirder, as the sites had 2 totally differant make ups, some being a scraper type and some being article and other ones of both being left. I am starting to wonder if its just the dance.

Obviously i have done the site:<my name> thats how i knew they were removed, but I will keep this post updated for a week to see if they return as many have by other guys from what i have read on here.

I would have thought if I broke adsense account settings with scraper that they shut down my account but to be honest i have made several hundreds of thousands of dollars on that account about 4 years ago and think that my account may be in good standings because of that, (despite i made it with scraper sites) please do not flame on saying how much I made, i state it only to say that it may be why the account is not taken down, and do not want "how did you do that" or "if you really made that much" type statements. I just want to stay on topic here.

just a site with little or no content in this case, but usually it means a site that steals its content.

This could be a stupid question but how do you decide on the niche?

I'm assuming you create a domain name based on a keyword that you've researched but what is your research criteria... You metion that some of the sites are based on a keyword with around 30 searches a day how many competiting pages do you deem to be low enough to go after that keyword?

Also, with the 18 article type sites, are the 2 articles, per site, optimised for this one keyword or do you add more articles optimised for lots of different keywords?

Sorry to hear of it. I once had a favorite site deindexed for 1 year! Made me so upset as I didn't do anything unusual or even greyhat.

I build 6 micro niche sites within the last month just to test the method, had sites on page 1, 2 and 3 and 2 site got deindexed yesterday and I notice unusual positioning patterns also. I feel like giving up already...but I will not

Update 1 more of my site got deindexed
It was fine before. May be its because I used statsblaster.
