Watched another streamer, Nickmercs, make around upwards of $7500 in a couple hours once. Was fun to watch.
This is better than whoring yourself out on chaturbate, better money without ruining career choices.
Most big donations are chargedback.
C9 Sneaky got an 11k donation about 2 days ago and he didn't even get that excited because odds are it will be refunded.
The site should ban people if they are doing chargebacks and they weren't scammed.
Interesting. That reminds me when someone like 3 years ago was selling a poor drawing on eBay and the auction ended with $10,500. It went viral and suddenly lots of dudes were making drawings.
Twitch is addressing that problem with "Cheering". You buy their digital currency and you "Cheer" people on stream. They make money and help with the charge back problem. Here's more info if anyone's interested. https://help.twitch.tv/customer/en/portal/articles/2449458
All they had to do is copy the system that has been in place for years on places like chaturbate,myfreecams,cam4 etc. It should have been something they had from the beginning.
The Cheer system wont fix anything. People want their money to go directly to the streamer and since Twitch gets a cut it turns people off.
Also donation chargebacks aren't much of a problem for small donations, which make up most donations.
The problem occurs when the donation is large and the Cheer system only allows you to buy $300 worth of bits at a time so its pretty useless.
I remember some months ago some idiot was "trolling" streamers by donating thousands of dollars multiple times.
Turns out that twitch decided not to refund most of the money and the idiot was out of 10k or something like that, and then he cried and the internet laughed.
Like seriously what is wrong with people nowadays. There are way better ways to kill off time than to risk losing thousands because you're an idiot.
So he has to suck their dicks at the end?....I don't get it.
this guy in the video also started a paypal dispute and he lost...
Paypal has changed there charge back policy for donations to Twitch streamers, meaning it's impossible to charge back donations now. Twitch has nothing to do with donations and does not get any cut, they only get money from subscriptions.
If that's true these men have to be punished.
What happens if you open a brand new paypal account linked with an empty vcc, and then you donate something like 10k to your own Twitch stream?
Would paypal be forced to pay up? If so, I think I just found a million dollar idea
How are you gona pay 10k with no money on the card?
Sometimes paypal tries to charge a card or bank but there's a delay, so they take the risk and if the charge doesn't go through you end up with a negative balance on the account. Do you think the people donating to these twitch streamers have hundreds of thousands of dollars on their paypal?
ahaha so funny, I wonder what that Drawing was worth so much!
Why wouldn't many of them have lots of money to give away? Have you ever been on a site like myfreecams? There are loads of guys that spend hundreds to thousands a day
I understand why people give their money to cam girls. The audience is older, wealthier, and they get something for their money in return.
But why anyone gives money to these fuckers? They are annoying, ugly teen guys, they are gaming... why people spend money in this situation?
Separate names with a comma.
