Hi BHW, probably you noticed that in the last few months there were some changes regarding the anchor text. We can now push more exact match keywords according to numerous studies. But I am quite unsure what is the conclusion and what kind of percentage I should use now. Here are my sources: http://source-wave.com/video/seo-anchor-text/ -I maybe misunderstood this one? But he showed that he uses basically 2 exact match Keywords out of 9. One longtail, 3 URL/Brand and 3 more generic terms. So this should be like (out of 9 links): Exact match 2 22% Long tail 1 11% URL / brand 3 33% Generic/Broad keywords 3 33% Am I doing something wrong or is he suggesting 22% exact match anchor text? Here is the second part: http://source-wave.com/video/2016-anchor-text-pt-2/ Here are more sources: https://ahrefs.com/blog/anchor-text-study/ Another study by Ahrefs. In the last image we can see this: Are they suggesting that the 1st page in SERPS has 11% exact match anchor text? And 22% partial? Here is a slightly older (2015) study from ahrefs: https://ahrefs.com/blog/anchor-text-analysis/ Here they come to a very similar conclusion but at the end they suggest 1,5% exact match? I am really confused now what should I use and what to aim for. What kind of exact match is fine now? What kind of percentage of other anchor text? Thanks!
