    Hello,

I will have a custom design, over 600 articles and all original. I am hoping to reach over 1k in articles regarding a specific niche, but will need someone to let me know if this 2k is well spent or not...

What can I do to have that blog generate some good cash? I mean, like they say a website with a 1000 pages is better than one with 4...

    Your thoughts please...

traffic is king. Imagine spending all your money in all of those 600 articles and you can't even get traffic. Honestly the most your blog should have regarding articles should be 365. 1 article per day is more than enough , now go and do some SEO and even with less than 1 article per day would be enough to start earning some nice cash.

My experience with blogs is they generate their own traffic over time if the content is original... I know that because I had done it once in the past... Is that not the case anymore?

Spend the 2k wisely. If it was me, I would first eliminate the cost involved on a custom design and use a premade theme instead. The most important part of a blog in my opinion is the content. Focus on having a handful of excellent articles made. Quality not quantity. Also, budget your funds. Don't spend your start up cash all at once. Stretch it out of a few months and experiment with advertising options. Your blog will need to grow for sometime before you will "generate some good cash".

I'm just now beginning to explore autoblogs, but I'd take things slow. Maybe spend a few hundred or so exploring, and invest much more in the future if things appear profitable. Unless you're sure you can make a return on your $2k, it may not be worth it to put it all in one place. Just my thoughts.

You would be better off spending your money launching an entire farm on different class c's than spending 2k on one site.

A custom design isn't required either there are hundreds of highly customizable premier themes right on this forum.

2k is good money to start big niche based blog. but be smart. Google like those blogs which update daily. Google is hungry for content but in right way. Over eating is always bad ;)
