Anyone have an idea on how to get the best deal/hosting?

Thinking I can use company's price against the other.

Not sure if this smart, or stupid in the long run.

Namecheap will give you a coupon code if you ask them...brings it down to something like 8.81 per year for .com's. service is the best.

Try Dynadot, Name.com or GoDaddy with a coupon code. (retailmenot.com is a good tool). In the future, ask for reseller plans for 200 or 500 domain names.

Ditto that. I have 70 domains in my account and just thought "what the heck, I'll give it a try" and sent them an email about a renewal coupon.

5 minutes later I had the coupon in my inbox and renewals cost me $8.81 :D

I would talk to some of the big name hosts like GoDaddy, or NetFirms, or HostGator and tell them you are wanting to do a bulk renew/buy and they will more then likely take the price down a lot because of the massive amount you are looking to renew/buy. You could even throw in a little social engineering if they start to dick you around. Pit the hosts against themselves if they try to keep prices high.

Whenever I need to renew I just google "godaddy coupon codes" and lately have been getting .com renewals for $7.49 that way. There always seems to be plenty of codes around.

As my domain count grows I have also been wondering about how to get cheaper renewals, but I figure if I haven't made enough on a domain after a year to justify the $7.49 then I should probably just let it drop.

I would be interested in hearing about bulk deals people are getting.
