    About Me:

Firstly, a little about myself. I'm a 20 year old guy from India, living in Ukraine.

I am aware about internet marketing but am noob at working about it.
I had plans to start my online business pretty soon, but for now I am set to earn big time!

I'm extremely fond of internet marketing as I'm from a rather poor family and am trying my best to support myself as I'm struggling financially.

In fact, I already had plans to start the websites in April, but I got into some big mess with the some paperwork and extension issues, and lost all my money. Nothing left - not even to get a domain plus hosting.
So, I have started teaching English simultaneously - although salary is crappy like 250$ a month, this will provide me with the money to start my websites soon.

    Present:

Recently I discovered blackhatworld and the site truly is a goldmine, the resources are amazing and the community overall is amazing. A few of the journals here were extremely motivating and I've decided to open my own as well.

I have decided to start other sites, focus on grey-hat/black-hat method and build myself financially stable and then start my white-hat projects.

I don't have any coding skills - I am more of a business person, and have one month till I can even have a domain plus host. I don't have much experience in internet marketing but during this time, I'd to read lots of books and learn the ropes to reach the top.

    GOAL:

    $5000 in 3 months
    or 50$ a day

A few reasons for opening my journal include but are not limited to :
    - Improve commitment, I'll take it as a duty to update this thread daily.
    Stay focused!
    - Gain more motivation towards working harder and harder
    - Keep track of my progress
    - Attempt to help others by explaining what I do, might broaden other newbies point of view for methods etc

    My tools/resources/Skills:
Time - I can yield at least 5 productive hours everyday
Determination to learn and do whatever is required to succeed
    Decent Language plus Marketing Skills
    Familiar with wordpress
And I think that's about all it...

    OFFLINE TIME PERIOD

    (i.e., without own website)

I do not have much idea what to do during this one month.
I have very basic knowledge about Youtube, CPA, PPD, SEO and SMM etc.
Particularly, I plan to focus on reading and learning more and more and eventually start off into this domain.
I'd like your suggestions for the same.

    After this one month -

    ONLINE TIME PERIOD

I plan to fiercely get into marketing - and utilize all that I can to boost my earnings.
I'd like your input on what should I stick to. I guess it obviously depends on personal preference as well, but I look forward to the suggestions, as I am set to work very hard.

    All the best,
    Archduke

You seem like IM is perfect for you!

Youtube and PPD is the place to start for just about everyone. Grind out a hundred videos and you can be making really good money if you have all the keywords/description setup properly.

If you start researching SEO and you don't like the looks of it, don't bother going into it, it's not for everyone. It can make really good money, but it can also be a huge waste of time for some people.

No niche - I can go with literally any niche for my black/grey hat projects.

For white hat, it's related with academic consultancy. But it's a far off thing, as I simply got to have more cash to make it BIG!

I am also thinking about starting out with Youtube and PPD. Given that young peers have plenty success with it, I guess it won't be the hardest thing in the world to get into it.

Currently I do not have any website and it sucks, because I want to toy around with this idea.

I thought of getting a free host, like 000hosting but somewhere I feel that it won't be worth it, as lessor options to toy around with it. I am not sure, say, how it'd handle huge inflow of backlinks etc.

About SEO - I am reading about it. I find it interesting, but reading is what I can resort myself to right now...

    Day 2

Today whole day, I was busy with the problem with some paperwork I am facing. It's bureaucratic thing and hence taking lots of time.
It's actually killing me, frustrating me everyday and decreasing my productivity.

I am trying to overcome the frustration and hence the decreased productivity with keeping myself more motivational, and being firm about not getting in the flow of emotions, and NOT TO GIVE UP!

I went to teach English for 2,5 hours and basically that was it.

I don't have a website - but when I was waiting in the metro, I made a mind map on my phone - listed down few ideas, and realized that perhaps I should use few methods which do not require any website/domain now, but I can start them now and even drive traffic to them after having some tools, skill sets and resources accordingly.

One of the few ideas that strike me was -

    Writing an e-book:

I basically come from a family with socio-cultural business, flavor of journalism has always been around me, and I can say that I'd be able to write fairly not so bad.
Also, I have Dragon Naturally Speaking 11.5. I am set to write 2-3 books within one month.
The point is I do not know how to sell/publish my ebook on Amazon or other networks. I really would love to learn more about the same.
More over, I do not know how to create a PDF into ePub or Kindle format!
Ok, alright, this is pretty noob, but I searched for it and didn't yield any satisfactory results.

If you know some resources useful for this?

Writing a book, will not only be a good use of time, and bring bucks, but also rep plus act as PR for my future projects.
It's 11:40 PM here. I would search some more - I hope to find something today- and then tomorrow I need to sit and look more seriously for it, as I find this a very interesting idea, and I am set to start quick.

You can sell your ebook through Smashwords, and they have information and templates that explain how to get an ebook into the right format.

And what about selling ebooks on different networks?

Dude, keep updating this thread. I have book marked it. So, don't let me down, i hope that you will also lead me some way out. Further, I'm bit identical in situation as yours. I'm gonna buy a domain and hosting in a week.

But don't forget to contribute to this thread.

    Thanks

Amazon KDP and Smashwords, join both and go over the help and learning areas. The you can start asking more specific questions about what you want to do.

I am sure you will succeed so keep it up and don't lose focus!

Thanks. I checked out Smashwords, Lulu, eBay and Amazon. They seem like the best bet so far about ebooks.

Although, I am struggling to understand how shall I increase the sales count of my books? What are some white/gray/black-hat ways about ebook publishing and marketing?

    Day 6

During past 4-5 days, I have been focusing around some ways to earn some bucks without any website, as I am broke enough not to afford even a cheap domain and host for now.

I mentioned earlier that I am planning to publish some ebooks, particularly related with Internet marketing and Academics etc.

Target: At least Two ~150pages ebooks by end of April.

I'll check it accordingly. I may make it one or three, depending on how hard I must work to increase the sales of my books, as in this domain, sales is the ultimate factor, rather than 'traffic'.
    So higher sales = profit!
This is what I am focusing on.

I suggest you start with KDP and then expand. If your book is successful on KDP then you can be sure it will be profitable on the other self publishing and marketplaces.

Remember that on Amazon Kindle you will be dealing with real readers, therefore the best way to be profitable is to publish high quality material. Amazon provides some useful promotional tools and you can also use the standard IM methods such as Twitter, Facebook fan pages, blogs, youtube etc.

Before you start creating your books, make sure that your target market is large enough to produce sales and that is actively buying multiple books. From my experience Amazon Kindle readers are not very interested in learning Internet Marketing.. but they love to fantasize!!!... hint.. hint.. ;)

I realized that during this time, setting up a Blogspot won't be a bad idea for promoting my ebook(s).
I set out to spin some articles around plus publish some unique content, and eventually promoting and pitching to buy my ebook. Thought it won't be a waste of time.

I created a blog with blogspot, and within seconds it was marked as spam!
I guess it was maybe because the blog's name was a bit too cheesy.

After that, I set out to create yet another blog.
I firstly wanted to give it a shot of Autoblog by Email forwarding, as I read on one of the posts here by 'Fabius', but I couldn't easily figure it out how to find various blogs from my niche, which are more 'average' sort!

Unique content is a problem, as I have already witnessed with a large number of posts here.

But then I discovered that one could place Adsense on their Blogspot! I had absolutely no idea about it, as I see people even here are not into Blogspot + Adsense (maybe because both are big G products).
I am really hopeful about making some cash through Adsense apart from ebook promotion, monetizing the blog in two ways!

Moreover, I can already see that practicing is much more beneficial than simply reading the posts. I read somewhere that until and unless you don't have a website, or you can't just tweak and see by yourself, it's hard to understand the concepts in reality.

I have blogspot, and I already try to tweak and modify it accordingly, and read more and more and apply.

I have just started my blog, and used some free backlinks and pings through various free services - I found them here.

I started day before yesterday and yesterday I actually did something on my blog.

    So,

    Day 1:

    - Started a Blog
    - Total 3 posts yet
    - Added Meta-data in the HTML code of Blog (Read about it somewhere here)
    - Installed Adsense on Blog
    - Made numerous free backlinks and pings through some free services

    Total View Count: 65
Adsense says total View Count: 59
    Total Unique Human Visitors: 02
    Earning: $0.00

I noticed that total unique human visitors is just two.
I guess that is primarily because my blog has not even been indexed yet, and I did just 3 posts yet.
Today, I'll make at least 7 new posts, and tweak the blog a bit more. (Although there is not much to tweak in blogspot)

I am thinking about getting an external CSS theme, to make this blog more appealing than by using usual Blogger templates.

Also I was wondering if I should stay on Adsense or switch to some other/new services I am listening about (Yahoo Publishing Network and particularly, Chitika)

I work using some Mind maps, trying to set my ideas, methods and goals coherent.

    Now my focus is:
    - To understand how to get more exposure and HEAVY sales for my ebooks!
    - Some gray/blackhat methods about ebook publishing, marketing and promotion
    - Get more visitors to my blog. Higher revenue on Adsense.

    Will keep you updated.
