    About 3 days ago my site got hit somehow. I have about 80 completely unique articles that were ranking in Top 100, many in Top 10.

    I was getting about 60 visitors a day and now ALL of my articles are below 400 in the rankings?

    Is this a slap or google dance?

    Checked your site. There seems to be a few obvious penalty's in place because your linking to (bad neighborhoods) i.e these domains;

    Code:
    http://www.tkqlhce.com/
    http://clickbank.net/
    http://www.insuranceagentsquote.com/states/ohio.html
    http://www.westvirginiacarinsurancepros.com/
    http://www.quotefreely.com/
    Basically, take all affiliate links off the site, keep link building to non spammed pages and report back in two weeks. Not sure if it's the main problem, but it's a step in the right direction.

    Pretty much the exact same thing happened to one of my sites exactly when you described.

    On Friday, I went from index ranking #1, #2, and #2 to random articles on my site ranking #90, #102, and #105. In the past 3 days I have only advanced 4 positions, and still a random page is ranking. However, I still have 6 properties of mine ranking higher than my money site for the keyword which is odd. All the properties have d0follow links to the money site. I think it's Ezine, 4 of my 2.0's, and one random article directory.

    Not really sure what to do, for now I'm just riding it out and if it doesn't improve I'm probably going to go on a 2.0 linking spree. Most of my backlinks were articles + untargeted SB comments.

    It's called Sandbox and you have to wait... or get High PR backlinks.

    yup im one of them wen from page 1 and 2 for multiple keywords to nowhere... took the one aff that i did have on my site off and the little bit of dupe content (hardly any) off added some outgoing links to authority websites and just going to continue to build High pr links and hope for the best end of the day google is just a script i guess theres only so long it will keep you in sandbox if you constantly update your site with fresh content and incoming (non spammy) links
