    Hi Everyone,

First and foremost I need to say thank you to everyone that posts on this site, the time each of you take to post tips, help others and share your stories is what has inspired me to get off my a$$ and give this IM stuff a real shot!!!!

Getting right to the point - I have no experience working with websites and it is now effecting my productivity. I have made a whooping $.85 since I started, I have about 180 followers and have been added to a few groups. Those groups really do bring traffic to your website and fast; in the last 24 hours traffic has risen dramatically.

The obstacle I can't figure out how to overcome is my ad placement. I try adding an ad to a photo gallery to place between images but I can't figure that out (using wordpress). I try taking an ad off the bottom and cant find where it is. I need advice on optimizing my site and how to place ads in the best places. According to google adsense my revenue optimization is a 1 ( not exactly sure what that means, except it's no good!)

I was hoping some experts may have some advice for me about not just about my crummy ads but also a general critic on how I could better things would be so much appreciated.

    Thank you

If you plan on customizing aspect of your site by hand, then you may want to head over to W3Schools or somewhere similar to familiarize yourself with HTML. It will only take a few days to have a working grasp of HTML, and you'll find it will benefit you immensely in your IM career. Also, since Wordpress is heavily PHP dependent, it would be a good idea to spend just a day or so learning the basic syntax of PHP.

Otherwise, you'll need to operate within the constraints of the themes and plugins you use in Wordpress. If you can't figure out how to place an ad in your current gallery, then find a theme or gallery plugin that will allow you to do it more easily, or consider an alternative approach for your ad placement.

If you plan on sticking with Pinterest, I'd advise you have a look at this great thread posted today: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...master-pinterest-thread-5k-month-growing.html
