some say not to have any hyphen in the domain, some say its fine

am wondering what you guys would say about this. i found a domain thats available to register and has the keywords i want to work with but it has hyphens in it (one without hyphen is taken)

opinions=

---------------------

people say not to stuff too much keywords in the page which makes sense because thatd look spammy to google but what if say i have 100 keywords and i put like 5 keywords from the list on each subdomain id have 20 subdomains with 5 keywords on each, would that look spammy? or would that be fine? was wondering since they all will be on one domain, just not on one page. thanks guys

Url's without hyphens do look more professional. Hyphens are typically ok in certain contexts but when you start stringing them out with more than three words or three phrases it can get cumbersome.

If its only a couple of keywords then I would snap them up. It won't affect serps your SEO efforts will do that.

I have a few domains now with the hyphen seperating the keywords and I think they look easy to read and are better on the eye in google search results.

thanks for the answer. went ahead and registered the domain. another question though- i did a search on google and searched my domain and got this result

Results 1 - 10 of about 96,400 for intext:"mydomain"

but only 3 or 4 pages came up, on 4th page it goes 27 of 27 instead of 96,400 what does that mean?
