    You got to understand what Adwords is in the first place. Adwords is a PPC (pay-per-click) advertising method. Adwords is the name of the advertising service for Google. Adcenter is the one for Bing. Other search engines and social sites have them too.

    You buy keywords (bid really since it's really an auction where you compete with other advertisers) for the privilege of showing your ads to those searching those keywords. You pay only when someone clicks your ads, hence pay-per-click.

    Since you are advertising, you make money once people clicking your ad and landing on your site buy something.

    Vouchers are redeemed in your account by clicking the Billing section. Only one voucher per account and they normally are good only for new accounts less than 14 days old.

    There are many ways to make money with adwords. At the core it is about having a website that sells or is an affiliate site and driving traffic to it. Adwords is jsut one method of getting traffic

    Adwords is a type of PPC. If done right its very profitable way to make money.

    It's becoming a lot harder to use adword to push your own offers at the moment. Seeing google banning a lot of Affiliate marketers at the moment, looks like Google wants the business to go to them directly!

    The reason there are bans is not because Google doesn't like affiliates. It's because those advertisers, who happen to be affiliates, are not following their rules and policies. Since many advertisers don't know these rules or seem to want to know or follow them, not surprising they get banned.


    This is not true and if you think about it, doesn't make sense.

    Google doesn't care if the ads are from the business owning the product or an affiliate. All they care about is having the highest quality ads out there, just like they want the highest possible quality in natural results.

    If that high quality comes from affiliates, Google is happy. Why go directly to the business who may not have as high quality? They make more money when there are high quality ads! If there are more affiliates using Adwords, there's a better chance of higher quality ads and thus greater revenues for them.
