Hi guys I have a little problem and I really don't have the time to research it right now.

So here we go. I have 2 different internet connections. First connection is 100 MBPS and the second one is 24 MBPS. I also have 2 network cards in the computer that's running windows 7 . My problem is that I would like to use the 100 MPBS with xrummer & hrefer and the second connection for downloading and browsing web or with scrapebox. I want this because downloading directly from my laptop will suck badly like just 1 MB / sec. Can this be done. I've have read about some scenarios that I need some load balancing software or something like that. If anybody can help that would be great. I don't want to install another windows or stuff like that. I just want to know if it's possible on windows 7

yeaaa IDK - VMware's a ram eater though - i can see why you wouldn't wanna chew up lots of system resources running a VM.

It's a quad core with 4 gb ram , but xrummer will use most of that :) And I want to download/upload some torrents on that computer too, but maybe use the other line for that.

Maybe there is a D-link router other there so I can do this ?

Go with Parallels Desktop 4, Windows/Linux ver. Its $80 or you can grab it off a newsgroup. I read through the user manual - will support Windows 7 for the Primary Host OS and for Guest OS installs "(supported experimentally)" either 32 or 64bit installs.

I can't think of a single way to bind an application to a certain NIC/IP. I haven't used Xrumer, I'm guessing you can't bind it within the app.

    Hope this helps - Oldschooler

May the people that rent remote computers with DSL know that.

How can they give you an IP to log to the computer and checked if yhe computer is switching IP's.

they use logmein which doesn't rely on IP - it just needs an active internet connection to make the remote control connection

Ok reading trough the internet it seems windows 7 has load balancing already in it. I can't test it yet because my second connection is not in yet but from what I read it seems I can't assign witch connection should go to xrumer and so on. I'll check on it once I have the second line installed.

Yea you can't assign the connection from the program. Again I don't wanna use Parallels, VmWare or Crossover or any other virtual machine like that anyway.
