"Lightning has struck twice at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, which has lost more than $11 million to just two high-stakes gamblers since April.
Just weeks after a blackjack player beat the casino for $5.8 million, a different gambler won $5.3 million last week.
The man left a $150,000 tip for dealers when he was done raking the casino; it was divided up among table games dealers on duty that night."

I remember hearing about the other player in April back doing well, but you'd think the casino would be more hesitant to allow obvious counters to play. As I recall the reason they got taken for so much, is because they allowed anyone to play the new higher-limit stakes blackjack. This allowed a known underground advantage player to absolutely destroy them. Absolute stupidity on their part if they continue to do this, and do not attempt to stop high-limit counters.

Also, at RoParadise I'm gonna have to call bs, unless you have some proof of your claim. I take it as a matter of pride to know all possible advantage plays in casinos, including the legal and not-so-legal. What you say is not possible in regards to any current slot machine I know of.

Well if you have $200 and each pull costs $.25,then you decide on a max of 800 pulls for that sitting etc.. Also you look for the slot machines that are located in areas where people can see them the best when getting there money back. Casinos have so many "loose" slot machines based on the amount of sq ft of the casino floor. And it helps to have a quick exit policy. Like if you hit 10% profit, you quit for the day.

I also said can,not will. This just greatly increases the chances of pulling a profit, since most people that lose, lose because of emotions etc.

    Did anyone read the article?
Ok, you can count card's at blackjack if you're good enough to beat pro spotters.
No bloody chance with baccarat and craps is a dice game.

Anyone can win this, if you think counting is still possible you live behind the moon theres too many decks now, its just a matter of CHANCE if you win, you LEAVE AND GO if you lose you double the bets. If they allow high stakes bet you have much more chances if you got enough cash cos you can always double bets until you win. And yes we did not read about what THEY and other players lost before.

95% of players lose in casino cos they play until they´re out of chips. Only a few are so smart to leave when they´ve won. AND TO FKN KEEP IT:D

Depends what casino. I worked in a casino and the gaming enforcement was actually run by the same tribe as the casino - both answered to the same board of directors. There is only a very small unit of state police that have authority over gaming, and they are for all the casinos in the state (which equates to 1-2 visits annually for a few hours or following up on very serious complaints).

The slots near high traffic areas would take a loss every day so if you play them long enough you win; they were set to spit out jackpots frequently to get people excited. The ones further away you'd have to be VERY lucky to hit a jackpot.

So by creating a record of the wins/loses in addition to what i said earlier. It is very possible to make money by playing certain slots.

Yes, it is. I was agreeing with you.

I used to play my tips every day after my shift on machines I knew were about due for a jackpot (unfortunately as staff you couldn't play on anything with over a $500 jackpot). Did I win every time? No. Did I win a ton more than I put into the machines? Fuck ya.

My friend worked at the casino. He would walk in win $50 then leave whenever he needed some extra money.

He said the machines near front entrance or by high traffic areas are the best ones to play because the casino want people to see you winning which will make them gamble more

You can't still count cards can you? I thought all casinos used auto shufflers these days?? 6 decks and continuous shuffling?

I play blackjack alot it's my favourite game and I do often come away winning but I know there's always an element of luck as even if you play perfectly I know the dealer is still favoured.
