OK, not sure it's been shareb4 , but I found a site that has this coupon code where u can get $2 domain.

    Go to register.com.

    CODE :
U have to register the 1 - 3 names at 1 shot [IF u have more than 1 name in mind] . If u register the 1 or 2 first then come back later for the latter, the $2 will ONLY be valid for that former 1 or 2 u registered at one go.
I made a mistake here. I registered 1 name then thought i come back again...to bad. So take note.

And be careful to read thru, as u know regustrars, they always try to slip in auto renewals, peri-pherals services, this, that...so unchecked all others (unless u want them added).

I dunno when the promo expire, so while it's still valid...Enjoy:drinking2

Decent registrar, better than GDAddy for sure, IMO....

Multiple accounts = Multiple Coupons :)

Thanks OP, I got my hands on a couple of good domains. The original price was
$38, applied the code and it came down to $4. Can't beat that.

Did you not get whois privacy with that? It costs $11 on register.com so a total of $13. The same .com domain with WHOIS privacy on name.com is only 10.99.

So this only works for non-important domains where you're willing to supply fake whois data.

Just saying... Not bashing the OP or anything. Thanks for sharing anyway.

Got mine too. You can disable the auto renew. And I checked the renewal rate, there is an offer of $10. Not bad.

I forgot to disable mine on the first buy. But yeah if u don't want auto renew u can disable it.

Btw, for those who worries about whois privacy, either give fake addy all the way like I did or u guys can try namesilo.com..or something , i been seeing it's banner quite a bit latley. Haven't try though. Includin' privacy is $8.99 only.

    $8.99 for a .com/.net? That's pretty cheap.

For those that just need cheap .info etc domains, name.com gives you free Whois privacy with the coupon 'PRIVACYPLEASE', so the .info only costs around $3. I just got a .in domain for $2.
