http://moz.com/blog/top-20-local-search-ranking-factors-an-illustrated-guide A number of articles, including this one talk about how important it is for a company's citations to match the proper address, business name, etc. What if 2 companies are under the same roof (same address) and use the same website? Initially, 1 companies acquired the other, but they still go by separate names, on 1 website, under 1 roof. Is it worth the hassle to just create a second website for the 2nd company, even though they have so much in common? Is this the type of citation mismatch that Moz is trying to get at? Obviously the client doesn't want to make a second website, just because of the hassle of having 2 but maybe it really has to be done. What do you guys think?
