I have been reading this forum for few years now and I have never taken ACTION! I have one small online business, but its not about IM, we have a very very specific niche and even though we have top position and get visitors from google value of them is quite zero to us as all of our revenue comes form few established relationships for our traffic.

I have some knowledge about IM and about SEO and I have read ALOT on this forum!

Now I have finally decided to take action! For that I have 2,5k$ to invest each month to my IM project and for that I'm looking for some advice, I'm also looking to outsource like 80-90% of work as I don't have all my time to spend on it ( I'm also open for different mentorship and JV possibilities).

What I'm thinking at the moment is that I will try to build some AS and some MNS for starters. Monetizing them with different possibilities, some with adsense, some with affiliate offers, some with content locker and some with CPA. And try to rank them with different methods, for some MNS try bobbyloves method etc.. I was also thinking about buying ready packages, but probably its just wasting money, as if I buy the services separately I get them just cheaper.

Any other ideas? As I want to have a portfolio where I don't have all my eggs in one basket :)

One thing that I want to achive fast is give some good advice so I can get my post count up so I can get to jr.VIP as there should be some good stuff there.

Next thing I dont have any idea what tools I should purchase..

And the last thing for now, are there any other forums that are a must have an account? I have one at templatep2p which is pretty good for templates etc but no other IM forums etc..

If someone completly new to IM wants to have some advice then: TAKE ACTION - this is where it all starts. You can try and fail and try again and fail again but if you don't try you CAN'T succeed!

If you never took action and failed to learn from your failures, it's pretty risky to start your very first adventure by investing, but that doesn't mean it's just wrong. I'm saying that because there are a lot of people who invest their own money, fail, and then they quit the thought of continuing with IM. While on the other hand, when you fail with something in which you didn't put any or some money in, then you will feel sorry just for your lost time, but manage to easily see the good part, that you have learned something from this mistake and that it does create knowledge.

It would have been better to buy 'the tools' just as a cause of the fact that you need them to scale things up, things that you would know already it works, rather than blindly throwing yourself into the darkness.. [IMG]

I understand that there is always a chance of failure. And the 2,5k per month is a mutual IM investment with some friends and they are also all aware that we can end up failing. I'm quite sure though that with a year we can get some sites that generate atleast SOME revenue :D so if we continoue for a second Year I will also have some more experience and the possibility of failure will be even smaller :)

I see really a lot of 0 to 100$ or 0 to 50$ per day etc threads but this kind of thing needs that You do most of the work on Your own, but its much less stressful for me to outsource everything :)

Why buyinh tools if u're planing to outsrouce, you won't have need tools, and if u're as busy as u say you won't have the time to master those tools. Don't spend all the amount once, do some tests, prepare yourself for a lot of fails before finding the right method that will makes you some cash. Good luck!

Listen to this guy, don't spend money just for the sake of spending money. Work on ideas and projects that cost little to nothing, and when you find something that works use that cash to scale it up. Don't start out spending money on software and tools until you have tried the method manually and know you can make money with it, and then buy the tools to scale up.

If you have to spend money check out some of the micro niche site providers on here, and then buy a site or two from some of the providers with the better reviews. Then add your Adsense code and see if you can make any money. If you do scale up by either buying more sites, or even better reverse engineer the sites you bought and build new sites yourself using that blueprint.

Thank You all for Your replies.

I have read this topic several times and I plan to follow this method :)

How does one find a mentor here? Find some great member and send him a PM?

I have never thought that I should spend this money just for spending it :)

I will not buy the tools ( maybe only something for kw research as I'm planning on doing this myself as its the most important thing in my opinion)

I will try to make even the MNS myself, with outsourcing the content, as it will be much cheaper than the packages. Also most of the packages have 500 word articles, I want to use 700-1000 as content is the king now days :)

And exactly what I am planning to do is get started with some cheaper sites and see how it goes, and if I find a great method scale it up as fast as possible :)

I would invest in FB PPC to CPA if I were you. It's pretty easy to turn a profit with little experience doing so.

Also consider 7search. I've never used it but I heard it's cheap and decent when you push to first and 2nd page submits.

Here's the trick: you don't have to (never) ask someone to be your mentor. He will feel like he would have to spoon feed you instead of feeling proud. Most of the successful people around here doesn't need to fuel their ego and feel proud of being asked to tutor someone. But you could instead get straight to the point and be-friend with someone, exchange info and stuff..

It's not a really good idea to invest in PPC if he doesn't know well this area. I'm not saying that PPC isn't good, God, it is a gold mine if you know what you're doing. But you got my point. It is a good idea, but maybe not for him.

Research a Niche ( With good CPA products & HIGH Commision ).
Choose a keyword with atleast 10,000+ EXACT searches a month.
Build a website & for tools you just need Sick submitter & SENuke for WEB 2.0's.

Stick with it & dont move to anythin g else before you succeed.

OP you said that you want to outsource 80-90% of the work right?

If this is the point then you don't have to bother with tools and stuff. I would spend time reading, analysing and researching some of the techniques shared here. But thats the one half of the work.

The other half would be to start gathering the best BSTs (through reviews etc) that are in here so you can outsource anything you need when you end up with a method of your choise.

You will probably fail many times even with this budget so the overall best advice is to talk with someone knowledgable in here about it before investing (beware of the scams though)

    ...my opinions!

That's a lot of money.. Buy an established site with traffic every 3-4 months and learn to monetize that traffic better. Will be a fun ride.

Again thank You all for Your replies.

I have used PPC to get some traffic to some different projects and even had some success with it, but to be really successful with PPC in my opinion you need a lot more than I have, as You have to run different campaigns and test different offers, landing pages etc for conversion and during this its more than likely to be losing money so at least for the moment I agree, that its probably not the best option.

I would be very happy to do this, but I have no idea how to find this kind of people, I could try and send few members who would be great in my opinion PMs and see how this works out..

I have all ready gotten few PM's but as its a reasonable amount of money I'm 100% there will be some scammers trying to contact me...

This is somewhat a plan that I plan to pursue. Get a bigger medium comp niche and build an AS for it that has a lot of content so at first there will be mainly traffic from long tail keywords and then when the rank gets better it will be making some $$$ :D

I have been collecting BSTs and looking and bookmarking fiverrr gigs that people are recommending for some time. I think that most important thing to have are good content writers, but about this I'm really not sure what to do. Take some service from here for a long term partner, or go to odesk or vworker or freelance to find some one there. I would probably get it cheaper from the freelance sites as I will be dealing directly with the writers.

Not too sure about this. Have been browsing flippa regularly for ages. I really don't think that people are selling sites with so good prices that I should be running to buy them. But I'm sure that its a great place for ideas and trying to reverseengineer some of the sites that are being sold there :)
