Well it was 2 actually, an original sale and up sell totalling in $76.22!

Ive been dabbling in IM for maybe a year or so but always in a half assed way, but this time I decided to go for it and treat it like a real business and sure enough the work paid off, good to get the first sale to see that its possible, was starting to think making money online was only for a select few.

I made the sale through solo ads, so my plan now is to learn everything i can about PPC and move forward with Bing and maybe 7 search too.

Also if some you experienced guys can tell me what you think of my campaign that would be awesome!

I was linking to a squeeze page, free giveaway for list building, but free giveaway was a report and had links to an affiliate offer, also had a custom thank you page with a "Continue" button that took them to the affiliate offer also.

Anyways had 166 clicks, 61 opt ins and 1 sale (2 including up sell), I'm pretty pleased with the results, was also split testing 3 variations of my squeeze page at the same time and got some great info.

    What do you guys think?

    Cheers!

Do you mind saying which product this was? And what do you mean by "solo ads"?

I had to spend $120 for the solo ads so not exactly in profit but this was always going to be about testing before I went ahead with PPC so Im totally fine with this.

I won't say what product it was, sorry mate.

Solo ads is when you pay someone a fee for them to email their list with your offer. Look it up bud theres loads of info out there, was hard to find for my niche but there is loads in the make money online and associated niches

Never reveal your product, every thread is viewed by ~700 people so imagine what that can do for your niche :D

Anyways congratz on your success, in my opinion making money online isn't easy, it is definitely doable but you have to be determined, devoted and convinced you will succeed. That's why not many people quit before getting $. But that's the thing - these things are required if you wanna success in anything in life.

Ditch the solo ads. Don't count your chickens before they hatch either because the niche you're in has a high refund rate.

But by taking action you're on the right track. Take that squeeze page and start running Bing ads with it. You seem to have an okay opt in rate but you will have to split test it to do better. Don't try 7search until you are well versed in PPC. It's not that you can't make money there - you can and they have been in business for over a decade so people are making money. It's just that it is a different kind of traffic and you have to know what you're doing in order to use it and have the knowledge to filter out the bad stuff. If you use Bing instead at first you can start with a quality traffic source and not have to worry about some of the things that come with a second rate traffic source.

Well done, mate. I think the 61 opt-ins is your biggest result there. I hope you have an e-mail campaign set up. If not, that's your job for the day. With the niche your in, there are plenty of affiliate programs you can promote along with clickbank products. Keep building that list and get marketing to them.

Yes I already have a good email campaign set up. My plan is to start using Bing ads to kick this into some substantial income. I am also trying forum marketing on niche forums, anyone have any tips on this?

Since I'm relatively new to this I stayed away from really high gravity products due to big competition.

I choose products with around 5-25 gravity and have sales pages that I think would convert, just ask yourself, would I buy this?

Theres a guy on here called mancar you should check out, he really knows his stuff when it comes to choosing click bank products.

Nice OP keep it up, and an even bigger success will come. I also promote CB products but with Bing ppc, on average have 1-3 sales per day.

Thats awesome! I would love to hit that kind of sales figures every day, my goal is £100 a day, hopefully some day this could be a full time or at least part time living for me but who knows.

My plan now is similar, bing ads to my squeeze page then sell from there.

Any tips or advice on Bing PPC?

I love solo ads. i use them on weekly basis. I come to close to breaking even but where the real money is in the list. That is where you can sell higher end products and make huge commissons.

Some advice....instead of having your buyer go to a thank you page you should just automatically redirect them to the sales page.

So your funnel would be like this:

Buyer clicks on the solo ad link--> Goes to your opt in page and enters email to get the free bonus--> once they opt in, they are automatically sent the free bonus via email and at the same time they are sent to the vendors sales page.

Then the key is to have about 7-10 emails set up in your autoresponder series that the buyer will get over the course of 10 days or so. I have it set up where 5 are sells on the product again (spaced out over the 10 days) and 2-4 emails are "my story" or my screen shots to show motivation.

Your #1 email should always introduce yourself...especially if your buyer is coming from a solo ad. You want them to know who you are and gain your trust.

    Good luck!
    Ryan
