    Hey guys

So I recently ranked a website for a foreign keyword and im getting 1-1.2k uniques per day but no conversions. I'm promoting a weight loss supplement. Keep in mind the keyword is more information seeker and not really a buyer keyword. Getting around 200-250 clicks per day but not a single conversion.

I do not speak the language the website is in (portuguese), so I'm having trouble with the content. I also tried a content locker for a full diet plan, didn't work. Adsense cpc is too low for it to be really worth it.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

Buy some professional articles in portuguese about your product, it should help for conversions.

That's what I'm thinking, and maybe just slap up some adsense. Shitty CPC but should be good for 20$ a day, hopefully.

What payment options does this weight loss supplement you want to sell offer? And I assume the landing page is localized for the Brazilian audience right?

Take into account that Brazilians use mostly "Pagseguro" to buy online, as they are still very wary about using their credit cards on internet sites.

And about the landing page localization, I mentioned it because Brazilians tend to reject foreign culture and language, so if you tried to upsell them a product with English name and description I would bet it wouldn't be too successful with Brazilians.

    Hope this helped.

I've tested a few so far, the one I'm promoting atm is credit card submit, I'll try to find one that accepts pagseguro, no luck yet. And yeah, they're all brazilian portuguese targetted... It seems odd to get 250 clicks and not a single conversion.

Make sure you have science backing your supplement. Usually with supplements people won't buy unless there is science showing that it works. This is similar to reviews for the other products.Hope this helps!

I think you hit the nail on the head. Most people mention using "call to action" words, and for good reason. If people are in gathering info mode, chances are much slimmer of them plopping down some bucks for the product or service.

I myself love gardening, and check a ton of sites about various methods and products, but if they are just general sites, with no real call to action, then I won't feel the need to buy something. People sometimes need a gentle push then a hard shove to get them into product buying mode.

    Hope that helps.

Well don't expect to have conversions like you have with US campaigns. Brasil is poor country and people are more worried about their money. "Internet buying" is new thing there and they are afraid to put their CC on internet. I'm from poor country, so I know their mentality. When we're talking about money, credit card or id card they aren't that naive like the Americans to put those things everywhere.

Lol you talk about Brazil like it's an India or something, Brazil has left the third world country status a couple years ago, the only problem there is corruption.

I'm working on getting someone portuguese to write some good content for it, so that should help a lot with that. I'll make sure it has some call to actions.

Yeah brazil is actually pretty well off in a lot of places. Something like 3/4 of them buy their airline tickets online, so internet buying shouldn't be a problem.
