1K uniques a day earns less than 25 cents a month with Adsense.

I gave up on Adsense a long time ago, but I still have one site that has the ads on it. So I checked and the site earns less than 25 cents a month from about 30K uniques per month, mostly from search and forum links. Mostly U.S surfers so it's decent targetted traffic.

Is there some setting with Adsense that is turned off or something? Like I said, I quit Adsense a long time ago because it's a waste of time, but have they changed something. Those earnings are even worse than I remember. Has Adsense really got that bad or am I missing some optimization.

I think it's also important to note what niche it is. Different niches have different payouts or CPA earnings.
I'm not sure if you are using youtube or your own website, but on youtube, different niches/content have different earnings.
For example, beauty related content videos pays you more per 1,000 views than the average. I also noticed car videos / repairs have a good payout rate too.

This is on a website/blog. The niche is current events/news/culture
 
This is totally very less mate. Nothing in the setup but u can block low level paying ads.
 
Oh man. That's so damn low. One of my sites in the banking niche is getting less than 40 unique daily visitors, and it's making 30-40 cents/daily. The problem might be from your niche.
 
I remember back in like 2011, I used both adsense and amazon affiliate on a site.

Turned out the affiliate income beat the adsense income by a mile.

The data is old. But the essence is still valid based on what I have read from other members. But some sites cannot be used for Amazon.

The success that I had were from affiliates but since I havent touched IM for more than 5 years I can't comment much on how it works today.
 
Just join another ad network like popads or propellerads and look at the statistics for a week, if you one of these works better then just leave adsense.
 
I know adsense is a low paying ads network, but this is so much worst for your website. Do you mean 25 cents or 25 dollars? Even depending on your niche and the country your traffic is coming from, it can't be this worst.

Those are generally even worse in my experience. Propeller Ads won't even let you do anything other than their push notifications when you sign up. No native ads or anything.

Mainly I've started selling my own products on all my own sites. Everything is else is a waste of time. I was just curious if maybe there was some new setting on Adwords I didn't hear about but I guess they just suck like they always did.

Selling own products will always be more profitable in long run. Most of the people give up in initial stage of developing their own product.

Page CRT is less than .8. That's why I have no idea what it is. All I get are those shitty general ads like "Hot gadgets of 2019" and it shows a fake picture of some item. Nothing is ever related to my site that's why I thought it was a setting or something.
 
Your traffic just isn't worth much for whatever reason - it could be niche, demo, doesn't convert, etc. A lot of advertisers optimize for CPA now these days, instead of bidding for clicks, so if your traffic doesn't convert at all, the price (your earnings) will reflect that.

Believe me when i say something is wrong with your account or you may need to tweak some settings a little bit on your site or block some advertisers in adsense as someone suggested. Most of my traffic comes from 3rd world countries like India, Nigeria and i am also getting like 1k visitors per day just like you, with a ctr of under 5% i still manage to make $80-$100 per month.
 
Try to Put Only 3 ads unite I side bar - blog post - banner I its look like you tell'em my ads unite places are expensive so they serve you only high quality ads

hey man can you tell me what settings you have? AUTO ADS on?

i have about 40 unique views daily but 0 clicks. and only like 5 ad impressions per day despite 40 visits (with autoads ON). i noticed it shows these ads below content which is terrible. and now they dissapeared tbh. idk what to do

I'm not using auto ads. I have a skyscraper at the sidebar area (I removed my sidebar). I have 1 ads after first paragraph, another one in between the post, and another one at the end of the post. You should try this formation, I'm sure it'd help.
 
That`s impossible, whatever the niche is even kids games must earn more. You do something wrong.
