Hello, I've recently built myself a WooCommerce shop and put on some AliExpress products that I think are fairly easy to target.

I'm launching this inventory-free dropshipping store because it's hassle free and easy way to practice targeting on FBAds and also a good way to find a converting product before buying stock for it. Once I made enough profit I will buy stock and ship them myself to eliminate shipping times and boost sales a shit ton.

    General Information:

    - I'm using WP + WooCommerce and a theme called Flatsome. The UXBuilder implemented in Flatsome makes it much much easier and robust to use than Shopify all together.

    - For FBAds, I'm running 2 PPE campaigns for 2 different products to warm up the social engagement on my Facebook Page, these ads aren't necessarily running to generate sales but rather to build some audience.

The ads have a 5$ daily budget, with the amount spent you can figure out how long they been running.

    - I'm using F+S tactic but in almost 3 days I haven't had a sale with neither of the products so I'm most likely going to look for another way of selling these products before I drop the products altogether.

    Spending & Income:

Day 1,2 & 3: Almost 20$ loss so far. (many more if we include setup costs)

    Goal: -20$ of 1000$

    Small Update:

For the ones that might like my ideas: I'm running 2 PPE product ads, focusing on social exposure, I've a revelance score of 9/10 on both ads. This is my current stats after 2.4 days: [IMG]

Right now the product is 10$ but I added a coupon to make the item free, it's in the product details, atm you can only use it once to make the item free (keep shipping cost). The item is around 1.5$ so I'm gonna make a purchase website conversion ad and make the coupon usable 2 times, so they get 2 for free, take it as a special offer. After the social engagement we've build up a bit of trust.

IG shoutouts require a bit more spending limit than I currently can allow, it's a bit risky in beginning since you pay upfront and can't stop halfway if you notice the website isn't fully functional or your funnels aren't set up correctly. I will try IG shoutouts once I built a reputable IG page or if I get some spending money from the facebook ads method.

Thank you very much, if it works out maybe people here can learn something hopefully.

Good luck mate! I'll be following
    @CrazyAppel
Did you target your audience by interests or you're going very broad to keep costs low?

Best of luck, quick question - how did you manage to get a high relevancy score? Any tips as I always seem to manage at best a 5 or 6.

Hey, I've 2 products right now, I used Audience Insight to check what related community pages (fan pages) are having high affinity rate with a decent engagement, I used those groups for targeting, if you can, press "narrow down audience" go to audience insights, check what the most likely job the product fans might have, use that in ur targeting as well, you need only buyers, someone with a job is more likely to buy something, if the fans are majorly women also exclude single relationship status, women can drain their boyfriends as well. I'd also narrow down location as well, remove United States and only add states with highest fan base %. On both of my products I usually used New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, Texas (although I'm having bad experience with Texas)

EDIT: When I created my Ad/Audience my potential reach is around 80-120k most of the time.

Take my advice with a grain of salt though, I've been running a product for 3 days, have massive engagements (over 600 engagements and 6k reach) but no sales. So right now I'm going to think about what to do.

I think you should get rid of the free product + pay for shipping method. IMO this method is making your potential customers a bit suspicious. If you have a great product people will buy it eventually.

You are right, I'll try to run a WC ad to the people that saw my PPE ad about a "2 for price of 0" coupon for first xx people, if that doesn't sell in 2 days I'll scratch the free plus shipping method.

Great journey. I also use Woocomerece and the flatsome theme. That theme is by far the greatest I have used as its super lightweight and blazing fast so a Woocoemrece theme. I currently have 3 Woocomerece stores and if I had more time I would expand but they are all doing okay and my recommendation to you is to use Ads for Conversion. I know a lot of guides out there say try PPE but I find conversions for Add To Cart to do much better and if you believe that your Ad is very appealing then just play around with different audiences and use the same exact Ad. Finding the right audience for whatever you are selling is the hardest part of ecommerece in my opinion. Also great choice with Woocomerece as you do not need to pay a Shopify fee plus all other App fees in the beginning and you can put almost all your budget for advertising and testing. Do not give up and keep testing and you will find the winning adset and the rest of the journey should be very easy.

Try bidding on conversions as well, and adding specific Interests and behaviors to increase your exact targets.

Thank you, I've used Purchase event for pixel and made a custom URL to apply a coupon and add 2 of my items to the cart and used that link to promote a 2 for 0 offer. After 6 dollars spent I got my first sale in the first day of running the WC ad. I'm still at a fairly big loss, but I imagine it would go faster once I get a hold of it.

    UPDATE:

    1 Sale: 10 - 38 (35$ ad expenses, 1.5$ item) = 28$ loss

I am slowly but sure going to minimize my losses gradually and eventually enter the PROFIT CLUB FUCK YEA...
