It's basically everything you need to conduct offline seminars for business owners teaching them how to do IM 'stuff' for their own sites. You charge per seat.

Hm ok great Idea! But come on, you have to actually LEAVE the house. I just got an Idea... I am going to promote on Craigslist, Gumtree, Through Email EVERYTHING!!

A PHONE SEMINAR!!

It can last 30 minutes or an hour or whatever, but the price doesn't have to be that high. Might take a month or so to get it 100% together.

Maybe do it 3 times a week, and charge $80 each or $200 for the whole weeks worth of training, except payment through PayPal or Alertpay... That way no waiting for a check, its 100% instant.

That's major loot, because there are so many old people (and young) wanting to learn net marketing! I am great at marketing with a lot of knowledge on the subject, so I can definitely get clientele! And maybe even offer to set up sites for some of the clients... lots of potential! I am not a great talker so I plan on paying my brother half to do all the talking, after I discuss with him what to talk about. 3 hours a week.. that could potentially be $1k plus a week with enough takers! I gotta make a site! Oh man! I'm excited! What do you think.. :D

I've wanted to do that, but like rent out the Holiday Inn conference room for 3 hours, and have 2 other guys each talk for an hour.... and charge like $80 per seat... ya know!?

You could definitely make some mad cash with this!!

I'm checkin out the site right now

Yeah but I'd rather it be over the phone because there are no expenses and its much more convenient for people! Just to dial an 800 number at 8pm or so and use a password to get in the conference, that way, you're sure they've paid! And you don't limit yourself to locals! People from all the over the world can be included which means... ching ching... more money.

This one's got my wheels turning. I've always liked the method of combining offline and online methods. It's kind of an area that doesn't get talked about much but the potential is definitely there. I've done some offline advertising promoting CB products and it's always been profitable but not what I'd call a home run. This one looks like it has some real potential and I think my "real world" sales and marketing experience could come in handy. Interesting post.

Yes I agree... I have real world marketing experience also. I am a fulltime marketing student, and it amazes me how similar they are, but I am gonna try this next week. Even if only two ppl jump at the opportunity... thats $160 extra for me.

You're absolutely correct on phone seminars. I conduct both online and offline seminars. The online ones are the easiest and most profitable. Charge $99 to $500 (depending upon subject) for one hour (usually ends up being 90 minutes). Use Skype for the conference calls so I can handle about 25 at a time. Just small enough to be intimate and let everyone get their money's worth while being profitable to be worth my time doing.

I conduct one about every other week.

There's a lot of teleseminars out there. It's important to make sure your clients know that you're not giving them one of those thinly disguised preview sales seminars. They're going to get 100% of the information they paid for.

Another good conference program is HotConference at $40/mo. It allows you to show people the websites you're referring to or how to use the software or what the sales process is. With these seminars you can demand higher fees.
