Hey guys,I just got huge list of expired tumblr blogs (which i've now registered) . So basically here's what I have......Page Rank 4 Blogs = 22.....Page Rank 3 Blogs = 157....Page Rank 2 Blogs = 463.....Page Rank 1 Blogs = 649....Page Rank 0 Blogs = 625.....Page authority 1-10 = 35% blogs....Page authority 11-20 = 25% blogs....Page authority 21-30 = 20% blogs.....Page authority 31-40 = 15% blogs.....Page authority 41-50 = 5% blogs....Page authority 51-60 = Only 1 blog.....Info about PA isn't 100% accurate but I hope you got it.....Now, there are few PR 1-3 blogs which have PA below 20 while some PR 0 blogs have very high PA. The highest Page Authority i saw in PR 0 blogs is 47.At first I though that it was useless to have PR 0 blogs, now i am wondering if I should keep them or not because most of them have high page authority....... Secondly many blogs in PR 2-3 have Page authority of 1, are they worth it?I also wanted to ask how do I create backlinks for my website on these blogs. Should I just place links of the articles from my real website and post ? OR, do i need to write articles on tumblr too?......Lastly, are these articles enough to get to the top of google for very competitive keywords like "stock trading" etc.

Nope, you will not rank in Google with these blogs for a keyphrase like stock trading. Bing/Yahoo likes their own properties, so I can see some love from them. But tumblr blogs are free and one of the most abused platforms. A few links may help your site, but too many is a red flag - especially for such a competitive keyphrase.

Mate for the blogs that are PR2-3 with a PA of 1 run them through a fake PR checker before wasting your time with them, something doesn't sound right with that.

I use the one on icheckrank.com and it has never let me down, PR is not too hard to fake.

Its best to look for properties on the basis of other metrics rather than PR.

@barddfouman: Thats what I think. @shaumn: Yes I've already checked the PR from smallseotools and everything looks good. But here Im more concerned about Page authority.@hatblackguy: i don't really understand what you mean by that......Do i need to post small articles with the links? If yes, is it okay to create one small article with the links to my website and post that same article on all blogs?

Smallseotools just reports the toolbar PR, it doesn't dig any deeper, just google "fake PR checker" and make sure that the tool specifically says that it is a FAKE PR checker and not just a PR checker, as I said I almost always use the icheckrank.com one if it says NOT VALID in green then don't waste your time, if it says VALID in green then its good to go. Check my profile for my posts and read my previous two in the thread where the guy is selling Tumblr blogs for $2. He has his own BST thread selling Tumblr blogs and he had been fooled by fake PR, luckily he was an honest guy and provided me with a legit PR 2 blog once I pointed it out to him.

While hunting for domains for my PBN I found that countless blogs have fake PRs and are a total waste of time.

On this forum it is as you get called out quickly, I have seen threads on digital point where people sell domains with fake PR to people new to SEO for ridiculous prices and get away with it as they don't dig deep enough.
