Hi guys, Im about few months old BHW member, at some point I got into action, figured out my seo strategy and I got into hard work (not too much activity here). Looks like things starting to pay of. Im into TV shows sites, all ranks more less 1st page but not top 3 spots just yet. Domains are up to 6 weeks old, Im fighting for tough KWs like "watch XXX online " etc.

One of my site, not sure why, got about ~1800 UV per day (figures by WP plugins and G analitics), many KW's are around 8+ spot in G, the best KW is 4th in Yahoo!. This site is empy, no outbound links, basic theme. I would like to wait more for domain to age and stop dancing but I need to start making money. So far not too much achor txt diversity been made (mostly targetted KW as anchor)
Im struggling to get accepted to HULU but hopefully it will be ok. Its my first serious try to monetize my work, so far I got bad experience, for some site I was around 3-4th in B and Y! and after I embeded amazon links I went out from top 100 in 2 days - so I dont want to messed thing now.

    I would appreciate some advice/ideas

    My concerns so far are:

    - should the affiliate links be cloacked? by which site (system)?
    - Im thinking HULU for main aff. program but maybe theres something else? about 60% of traffic is USA
    - content locking, I never got into reading about this in details but how about content locker (email submit = money? ) and then hulu if somebody want to watch some episode?

I would be gratefull for some comments, my sites are rankingg constantlly and at some point I need to make $ from it but dont want loose rankings.

Depending if your visitors are returning or new everyday . If they are returning and you put content lock on the site the traffic will go down . If they are all new visits or most of them are then yeah you could make some nice $$ from it

also, I have high outbond rate but I guess its because my site looks just plain and nothing is really on it. Tmrw I will start to make it look nice and user friendly.

Congratz for the rankings achieved with yoru site buddy!

    To answer your questions:

    1) Yes. Never use naked affiliate links (they look uggly and worst, you can track them). I use the free pluggin "Pretty Link" to both masking and tracking my affiliate links. It's a great pluggin, try it out

    2) Never tried HULU. I would advice you content lockers definetely and for a simple reason: These people WANT to see something online, so they're going to be willing to take action IF that's THE ONLY WAY they can watch the episodes. Meaning, you need to give them no option: Either you do "this" or you're not going to watch anything. Period.

    3) Yes, content lockers basically is similar to CPA: The user is required to perform an action (submit their email or submit their phone number) and once they do that, they can access the content they're trying to reach.

The difference between CPA and content lockers is that with CPA marketing people are looking to "win" something: a gadget or a prize. But with content lockers, people are trying to ACCESS something they NEED (in this case, watch episodes online).

thx a lot for opinion. I know content locking can be profitable but I got some problem with content itself, let say someboy will leave email and gain acces to site, how can I provide them content (episodes) without legal problems? I dont want to link video some spammy vids because sooner or later I might get banned from G or some DMCA action will happen. I like the fact with HULU tat is legal. I want (at least would like to) keep contstant ncome, even if thats $10/day. How to look for good offer for content locker ?

New day for me, 2 860 UV yesterday...whooooooa :) so happy

I just did check on search terms from visitors on my site. There is many like "tv show name", "tv show cast", pics, characters etc. So there is not too many WATCH/STREAMING terms
