    Hello all!

Thanks for reading my post. I'd be very short and direct in all of my posts as I do not have too much time to waste on writing long posts here on BHW. I believe I have some serious work to do and BHW belongs to a group of places I visit when I procrastinate.

Okay, so first, a little about me. My name is Vukasin and I come from a small European country (Serbia). I've been in Internet marketing for the last 3 years. Of course, a huge portion of time in the last years was spent in school, bars or with my friends so I was not full-time in IM.

However, I'm planning to change that. I still have to go to school as I need to finish it (12 more months) but I'm also planning to organize my time better and reach that $1,000 a month goal.

I've had successful months and I earned well over $4,500 for 3 years. I consider that pretty good for someone as young as I am. The living standard in Serbia is low; an average salary is around $400. I want to move out of my parents house and live on my own so I need to earn at least $800 so I can have a nice life.

I joined BHW because I want to keep improving my written English, learn from others and share a journey.

What am I doing right now?

I'm mostly freelancing. I believe I have decent writing skills and I'm also developing some dangerous SEO and marketing skills. I'm going to spend my time on Fiverr a lot as it is marketplace that I can use immediately to get more money and reinvest.

I'm also in process of setting up my own website where I will be marketing my skills. I'm also planning to earn money from the website solely from advertising, affiliate marketing etc. It's going to be tough, but I believe I can achieve it.

My plan is to join Odesk and Elance and offer my skills there. Maybe I'm also going to sell my articles on article content marketplaces.
Practically, I'm trying to build my name as a freelancer anywhere I can. I'm full of great ideas, I'm motivated and ready to earn myself a nice living.

What do you think of my plan and my skills?

    Zdravo!

I spent 2 months in Belgrade this past winter. Srbija is a beautiful country and I can't wait to go back.

Freelancing is a great way to move forward to achieve your goal. Before I stopped freelancing I was making nearly $2000/month on Fiverr and Odesk. I found that Elance was harder to break into so I cut my losses there and just focussed on the other two platforms.

For freelance writing you want to find clients, typically on Odesk since the people on Fiverr are cheap, and get them to pay you directly for your work. Have you had any problems setting up PayPal in Serbia? I know people there who really hate the banking system and couldn't get Paypal to work.

After I did freelance writing for a while I decided to stop working for others and work for myself. Right now I'm building an authority site with another one in the words. So far my first site hasn't made very much money but I have a lot of savings, dedication, and I'm very patient. The best thing I think for you to do is either find private and high paying clients through Odesk or build up your own website, even in your own language.

Anyways, $1000 per month in Srbija is a great wage. I was spending maybe $750/month and I had a penthouse apartment in the Dorcol area of Belgrade. It's really a great country to earn a living online because a little bit goes a long away.

    Good luck! Srecno!

$1,000 a month sounds like a pretty good initial goal to me; it's attainable and not unrealistically high. Good luck on your journey and don't forget to update your thread like so many others do.

good luck with your journey first make sure what service you want to provide to your clients and try to make some positive note... if you are using odesk or freelancer... make small bid it will attract them and once they start talking to you then tell them it will cost you $$... and make sure you read their needs.. becouse if you hit them on that point they will like to give you project..
i used that trick and i made 1k$ in one month without spending much time..

Thank you all for the nice words.

I believe I could reach it and I'm motivated to do so. I'm not planning to join Freelance as I've heard a lot of bad reviews about them. Anyway, I believe Odesk and Elance would be great for a start as well as my plan on Fiverr and my personal website. I'm also planning to join some content selling marketplaces and that will probably be all for now.

I already have one big order on Fiverr ($110) and few smaller ones and I hope I will finish my website today as well as my marketing strategy for it.

    Have a great day people!
